fuck, all excited and this shit is still 5 months away. Dont think i have anticipated a game this much since socom 2

Without a doubt this is THE biggest game of the year and i'm pretty sure it's going to set some one day records and shit. Definately will outsell GTA IV. To see the reaction of gamers at the mere mention of a new Modern Warfare, they ready to do backflips and shit.

GTA 4 aint good example Halo3 or GOW2 probably even Saints Row 2 had more sales than GTA4.

Might wanna go do some research. Halo3 and Gow2 just one console, Saints Row sold, but not that good. MW2 will be multiple consoles and probably going to set some records, just wait and see.

As a lot of people might have guessed, GTA IV did make a splash on opening day. Breaking records on both consoles.

335,000 copies were sold on the Xbox 360. Blowing away Halo 3's debut of 266,000.

274,000 copies were sold on the PS3. It made 45% of all sales, and was a format record breaking performance.

Based on EPoS sales data and estimated retail transactions 609,000 people went online in one day

Thoughts on CoD: MW2

GT: IH E N ID R I X ...I'd like to start out by saying that I'm glad Infinity Ward is designing this game rather then Treyarch. Infinity Ward had made quality games since they first became a company, and not to say CoD: WaW or CoD 5 was a bad game, just Infinity Ward has always made amazing games. Now as for CoD: MW2 I'm willing to guarantee that this game sells more then any game thats come out since all three new consoles have came out. Yes, perticularly talking about Halo 3. This game will surpass Halo 3 sales b/c not only is it going to be one of the most realistic games of all time, but it's going to be one of those games that you just won't get bored of no matter how much you play it. We all know CoD 4 was amazing, so lets all get excited for CoD: MW2 which comes out November 10, 2009.
