not that i want to add fuel to this fire but...
xbox live has way more people online. more people equals more talent. that applies to anything. if we are making a football team and you get 20 people to choose from and i get 100,i am going to end up with a better team. larger talent pool
live has tournaments and ways to earn prizes by playing well on certain weekends. having more events where there is something to play for breeds competition
xbox has halo...dont get me wrong,im not a halo fan AT ALL but nobody can deny the online communitiy of that game and what it has done to competitive console gaming as a whole
might seem minor but from my expereince WAY more people use mics on 360 rather than ps3. mainly because most 360's came with them. i play world at war on ps3 and dont hear a fuckin peep out of people. i play on 360 and the whole room has a mic. communicating and making strategies (socom being an exception to this rule,EVERYBODY has a mic on that shit)
as much as people get butthurt over it,the truth is that ps3 is for more casual gamers and 360 is built (online-wise) for a more hardcore gamer. not saying ever ps3 owner is a casual gamer, just think more 360 owners are really hardocre gamers
see that guys? its called having reasons and trying to start a DISCUSSION,you should try it sometime. i could of easily said "CUZ PS3 IZ 4 TEH N00bS" but i didnt
