Casamayor definately b.S.

Cotto boxed, and was more accurate, though he did get winded. This really was a chess game, the whole thing, not just the actual fight itself, all the talk leading up, both fighters saying what they're gonna do, what they think the other fighter's gonna do. Cotto keeps getting better, more mature and still undefeated.....!

Mosley really is a G for just takin his L at the end, and givin the young warrior props, hope to see him in Cotto's corner someday maybe.

Now onto a superfight, cuz the man does deserve a big payday, (give it up for puerto rico!) though I would LOVE to see him fuck up Margarito.

ehhh.. 12th round was anticlimatic

i dont like Cotto but ill give it to him. he won.
I like how Mosley had success when he circled n jabbed and got off when Cotto leaned forward. I think thats a good sign for taller fighters or someone like PBF with long arms and more pop than Mosley. Cotto just doesnt impress me 4 whatever reason. A Younger Mosley woulda handled that foo but thats neither here nor there =/

I've never really been a fan of his either and this fight didn't help. I never totally agree with Lederman's scorecards but I felt he had the fight scored correctly by having Santa Cruz up 10 rounds to 2. Not to mention the "knockdown" in the first round, I can't see how the fuck the judges could give Casa any more than 3 rounds. Straight bullshit.

Damn good fight....Props to Cotto, although I had the fight scored a draw I felt it could have went either way. Impressive wins by Margarito and Ortiz, they definitely made a statement tonight. I'm still pissed at the Santa Cruz-Casamayor decision though, that was a complete robbery.
Agreed 100%..... I knew if it wasnt a draw that it would go to Cotto.. and props for how Mosley handled himself after the fight... and giving Cotto the credit he deserves.... Best fight Ive seen in a while...

I don't think one person predicted Cotto by decision......LOL

I never underestimate anyone when it comes to the boxing game, but I thought Mosley had a little too much for Miguel but the fight proved otherwise. Mosley landed some nice right hands throughout the course of the fight and Miguel took them well, it seems the move up in weight really helped him out. I had it a draw but I wouldn't have been upset for either man getting the nod. If he doesn't get the winner of Mayweather-Hatton I'd still like to see him and Margarito go at it in a possible fight of the year.

Exactly, the man's a class act. I've been a Mosley fan for years and maybe my pick was a little biased because of that but it's hard for me to root against a guy who has the sportsmanship of a Mosley.

Yeah im a mosley fan as well. I was the only one here going for Cotto.. but for the sport of Boxing.... Cotto won fair and square.... I thought Mosley was going to take it around the 7th or 8th round. But when it came to the 10th round I knew Cotto was going to take it.

Great fight, i think Cotto won 7 to 5. I was shocked actually Cotto didnt handle him easier. Mosley aint no joke can take some punches. I thought Mosley was gonna catch him in the last couple rounds and knock Cotto down but fortunate enough it didnt happen.

Great fight. I also had it a draw - 116 to 116, although a couple rounds were real close and could have gone either way, but ultimately I'm glad Cotto got the win because I thought for the most part he had control, up until the 9th round when something happened to Cotto - either he got hurt, fatigued possibly due to the body punches, or as the HBO crew mentioned may have had a bad cut in his mouth. Whatever happened the momentum of the fight completely flip-flopped and Shane because the aggressor and Cotto the boxer. Shane won all of the last rounds except round 11. I don't know why the hell Cotto felt like he was up on the scorecards and did nothing in the 12th because he game that round away.

Regardless, Cotto-Mayweather in '08. If Mayweather doesn't make it happen, he's kind of a bitch. lol

Ohh...I remember that. I just doubt I'd see a Mayweather/De La Hoya fight, and thought Cotto might get in there.

So...this is in the future, of course...but who's the next opponent for the winner, after Cotto/Mayweather? Who else is there?

Margarito is the man to beat to me, Mayweather has shied away from him, Mosley said he didn't want none, Cintron got floored by him, and as I've said before Williams gave him a boxing lesson but didn't hurt shit but Antonio's ego, I'd love to see Cotto and Margarito go head up.

plus you got up and comers like Ortiz and Berto
