mexico is SUPPOSED to win at azteca no matter who they play. so its not like your going out on a limb saying their is a strong chance the USA will lose. But seriously right now, if you could have the main squads bring everyone the coach wants to. right now USA is better. they showed it in confed cup they showed it in coloumbus in the first world cup qualifier they played. USA are showing it in the Hexagonal that right now the USA is better.

This gold cup win for mexico shouldn't swing that opinion because none of those guys are gonna take the field at Azteca. Even though about 5 of those players on Mexico will be on the field for that WCQ.
LOL@ this guy making excuses for the US to lose even before the game. NOTHING is supposed to happen, that's why they play the game for 90.

Slowly but surely Mexicans will show that they're superior in soccer. You guys just watch out when all the cylinders get going...

hahahahahaha man it never gets old the "we get lucky" part. I love that. and good explanation on Donovan not having great skill just because he dominates mexico and you don't like him. lol

Few americans over seas on shitty teams??? Edu and Beasley are on the rangers who won the SPL. Clint Dempsey is on Fulham who finish top 7 in the EPL. Tim Howard plays for Everton who is top 5 in the EPL. our back up keeper Brad Guzan plays for Aston Villa. Gooch plays at Ac Milan ETC.

Im not excited cause we got "lucky"(lol @ this lucky shit again) in the Confed cup. I was pumped about the USA sense. well forever. lol im always excited about our team cause its only getting better...

blah blah blah spain had what 15+ corners in that game and how many great saves did tim howard have? Spain didn't look over shit, they just got beat by the better team that day.

and yeah im sure Brazil thought it would be easy after watching the USA beat the number 1 ranked team in the world at the time who hadn't lost sense 06. yeah im sure. whatever makes you sleep at night dude.
Mexican players overseas> US players overseas...

And anyone trying to argue differently is simply an idiot who doesn't know soccer. Individually, Mexican players shit all over the USA and it's not even funny. Collectively, however, Team USA has shown they're the better team lately...

This is what I've been saying for the past 8-9 years you guys have fuckin DIPPED in quality just admit it. you aren't as good as you were or should be right now. all im saying is USA>mexico

ITS CLEAR mexico doesn't dominate its region anymore. and I know that hurts you guys to admit cause in mexico and mexico fans soccer is number 1 and you guys consider yourself some sort of world power when it comes to soccer, but not right now.

Like I said, individually they are better. FAR better. However, the team collectively has not played to their full potential. This is because of the many changes in coaching and inconsistent roster with too many changes on it all the time.

Read what I wrote before you go on a worthless rant like this.

I wouldn't say it's so much Mexico dipping in quality as it is USA playing better. But like I've said, Mexico hasn't been playing to their full potential but I'm hoping the 5-0 massacre is a catalyst for it...

i gotta agree.. mexico does suck at soccer, we need to find a coach and stay with him.. switching coaches fucks with the younger players development.

However what lamberto is saying is also true, the mexican players individually experience much more success in european leagues..

I don't understand tho. Individually better in what sense? I mean what they try more kinda tricky type shit so they are better? I mean.Thats a pretty broad statement to just say they are individually better. whats the point of that argument. thats a hollow point(if you even believe its true) because it doesn't show in the starting 11 of the main squad...... just because mexico is playing bad doesn't mean they aren't living up to potential. maybe they just blow goats right now???

You're a little slow aren't ya buddy?

Individually means that Mexican players who play for teams overseas play better and have a larger impact on their teams' games than US players overseas. It's not too difficult a concept to grasp...

ok....... anyways back to USA vs mexico the teams... I could give a fuck if the starting 11 of mexico was playing at Man u. and won the EPL and Champions league. they cant do it for their national team. whats the point of that... we are gettin a little off topic about the over seas shit. Im talking national teams. they are not individually better when they put on their countries jersey.

*edit*

and to be honest I don't really think mexico is THAT much better overseas. I mean give me some examples? Marquez? dude is a liability back there.

Dos santos couldn't do shit at tottenham.

vela hasn't done shit for Arsenal

I mean who are you talking about

Back to my original point, Mexicans are better individually than team USA, but have not played to their full potential collectively on the international level. Like I've been saying, we'll see how they do now that Mexico's finally playing well and finally getting some stability at coach and on the squad. Too much shuffling has made the team look terrible the last years...

You're already expecting them to lose in August from what I read in the other thread...
