After reviewing the fight. It was legal but in bad taste. No Class. Money sat back when Zab Judah did him dirty. I respected that. Didn't expect this. He was picking him apart, What he should have done was punish him for the remaining 8 round left of the fight. No buying into the rematch. If fact it doesn't make me want to order another Mayweather fight until he see's Pac Man. Money needs to give the fans what they want. We the fans made you RICH. Silence the critics and solidify your legacy.

lol @ thinkin that free knockout proved anything. who really thought that ortiz had a chance in this fight anyway? still wonderin why mayweather spazzes out on whoever asks him questions that lightweight goes at his integrity though. that fool stays contradicting himself when he speaks thats why. dude even admitted to contradicting himself in a recent interview.

Larry got what he deserved also.

Prior to the big headbutt the ref told Ortiz to watch the headbutts (like twice). He got what he deserved and I'm not talkin about that $2.5 milli...
Lol Larry is 80 years old he was simply trying to do an interview with a guy that didn't want to answer any questions that was straight up disrespectful by Floyd

Larry wasn't simply trying to do an interview. Larry was starting shit, just listen to how he cuts Floyd off when Floyd was thanking the fans. Now I will say this in defense of Larry, and I'm saying it now because I don't want to see/read anyone else saying it, but the guy has helped out the sport of boxing in so many ways. Joe Frazier? There wouldn't be one if it wasn't for Larry.

Those dudes always do that tho Heresy. They cut them off if they go on too long talking about fans/sponsors/baby's mama's and whatever. That bastard Jim Gray on Showtime is the worst at that. I wanna choke that dude out.

@ Timm, you're still trippin breh. How many more punches is acceptable to you before stopping the Gomez/Alvarez fight? Like the other dude said, after the fight was over, dude needed to be held up because he was still stumbling without someone punching him. A lot of times after a huge shot, then 10 or so unanswered shots when the dude isn't even trying to throw punches back or even look where the punches are coming from, it should be stopped. It was more like 15 punches in this case against a hard and relentless puncher. Good stoppage all day long.

Floyd wasn't answering questions thank God my fans thanks to everyone that bought my ppv he should have cut him off sooner. Regardless yelling and cussing out an 80 year old respected person of the sport was just plain classless. Any other sport he'd be suspended or fined or whatever.

No big deal to me just thought it was out of line.

^^^ Definitely respect your opinion but i thought Merchant deserved it. They been going back and forth for a while now. They should have had Max Kellerman there to do the interview but fucken HBO knows how to create controversy and there well aware of the two's history

The stoppage on Gomez was completely legit. Alvarez was unleashing hell.
Gomez should have taken a knee, he was wobbled and getting mugged. No way he would have weathered the storm. Good stoppage. Gomez should have known better.

Ortiz got what he deserved. He didn't need to keep butting Floyd like that. He was doing just fine without the head butts. What Mayweather did was a cheap retaliation, but completely legal.

Larry Merchant got what he deserved too.... emotions are flying high and Larry seems prejudiced against Floyd anyway. Larry came at Floyd like he was the one that started the intentional fouls and then was kissing Ortiz ass like he felt sorry for him. Larry was out of line for saying what he did....

Floyd checked his ass too and that's just what he gets! Larry wanted to get socked in the face so Floyd could get another case.

Anyways, I don't know why this is surprising to people floyd will always take advantage of an open oppurtinity he's always done that in his career.

Round 1 against Arturo Gatti (got to 3:20 of the video)

he did against shane moley anytime mosley tried to tap his gloves, 2:52 of this video

Anyway, Floyd looked good. I see Pacquiao over pricing himself out of the fight so that he doesn't have to face Floyd. He may agree to the drug test but I see Pacquiao finding another way out of the fight.
