I guess you forgot a few months ago VisionQuest reported that Manny only had $30 million in the bank. I bet money those Forbes numbers is the money that Manny made before Arum took his 27% of the gross, before he paid Koncz his 5-10%, then Roach and Alex have to get paid, and finally he has to pay Buboy and the 50 other yes men he takes care of. Mayweather was playing the same game that Top Rank have been playing, negotiating a fight through the media. Mayweather made Manny a fight offer of $40 million Manny truned it down offer. At least Mayweather called Manny to try to make the fight happen. What has Top Rank done to make the fight happen? Manny fans will always blame Mayweather no matter what anyway. But it has been pretty clear that Top Rank doesn't want to fight Mayweather. Is Bob Arum still making the outdoor stadium? Lol. Mayweather should give Manny 50/50 too, but $40 million was a fare offer too.

Sources close to the information have informed us that WBA jr. middleweight champion Miguel Cotto has agreed to face undefeated pound-for-pound and WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather on May 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many were under the assumption that because the fight was taking place on Cinco de Mayo, Mayweather would look to finalize a deal with a Mexican opponent. WBC jr. middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez was rumored to be the leading candidate to land the assignment, but evidently, those reports may have been extremely premature. Mayweather is said to be making the announcement today during his hearing to get his boxing license reinstated.

No matter what Mayweather does the Manny fans will always blame Floyd for Manny and Top Rank not even wanting to negotiate with Mayweather or GBP.
