Yeah it shouldn't be that tough. Cotto was serving Margarito till that plaster began to harden, next thing you know Cotto had blood pouring out of his face from everywhere.
Nah man, Cotto was taking punishment as early as round 2. Margarito was putting in some serious work early on. I've watched this fight probably 10 times by now (as it's one of the best fights in the past 10 years imo) and I'm 100% convinced Margs beats Cotto 100 out of 100 times. He's just all wrong for cotto.

Should be an entertaining fight, all Pacquiao has to do is box. Land punches in flurries and then get out of the way.
Just boxing margarito has yet to work for someone though. The key is clinching. That's what Mosley was able to do. And it's something pacquiao doesn't do (and even if he did I think he's too small to clinch margarito). The main reason cotto lost to margarito is because he doesn't know how and/or couldn't clinch him.

Margarito for the upset, that's what I like to hear.
He's a pretty good capper. His dogs hit the majority of the time. Except for his last Glen Johnson pick. I can't believe I swayed away from my original pick of Cloud/Over and tailed him on Glen and the under.

No the main reason Cotto lost was the fact that he has no defense other then running away and he was taking big body shots and uppercuts all fight until the end. Mosley clinched and used a little side to side footwork that made Stone-Hands look like a fish out of water, and lets not forget that Mosley was landing ever damn punch he threw. Stone-Hands is going to eat punches all fight and Manny's footwork will confuse him until the end. This is Manny's hardest fight since Marquez. Stone-Hands will not back down and he will throw punches. But Stone-Hands is very slow and easy to hit..

The main reason Cotto lost is because of the plaster that was found in Margarito's gloves in his next fight. Cotto lost because the plaster started to harden and he couldn't take the shots.

You see what Nazim Richardson said? He said that he thought that Margarito was about to be arrested for assualt after he got busted.... and then you look at Cotto's face after he fought Margarito and you see why.

Bertoor Mosley will give him the best look at hand-speed. Pac-man has made a living out of fighting no defense having come forward fighters. I want to see him fight someone with hand-speed and good foot-work.

Then why you keep hating on the fight and saying it will be easy for pacquiao? You contradict yourself homie. On one hand you say pacquiao should win easy, on the other you say it's his hardest fight since marquez.

First off, it cannot be proven if margarito used anything against cotto or not.

Second, if he did and that shit hardens late in the fight, how do you explain cotto already cut and bleeding by the end of the 2nd round?

I've never been a fan of margarito and I don't know the extent of his cheating, but you're making him out to be some bum which simply isn't the case. He's fought a lot of good opposition and rose to the top through hard work (he's always been known as a gym rat). His chin doesn't have plaster in it. His stamina doesn't have plaster in it. He's pressure and relentlessness doesn't have plaster in it.

Mosley was already slated to fight Mora before the Margarito fight was signed.

Berto is virtually a no namer and hasn't beaten anyone to deserve a shot at Manny. What he should be doing is getting his name back from Collazo. It would sell less PPVs than Clottey.

I'd like to see Manny fight someone with footwork and hand speed as well, but its just not there right now.

2-0-Sixx I'm not contradicting myself. I just think that Cotto was shot after the beating Stone-Hands and Cottley gave him. Golden-boy was a shell of himself, Daiz and Cottley are both bums. So yes Stone-Hands will be his tuffest fight in a while. But to me Stone-Hands is not all the skilled and is very easy to hit. So I think it should be a easy fight for Manny but he is in with a live body.

I feel you Rump i want to see him in with a quick fighter too. 2-0-Sixx Stone-Hands is a warrior but Mosley really exposed his level of skills and Mosley cracked that iron chin. But with that said if Manny is not ready for this fight i can see him in for a long hard fight. Damnit I love boxing. I hated on Stone-Hands now after watching the Cotto fight again. LOL..

Bigface if you don't think Margarito getting caught with the wraps before the fight affected him tremendously mentally, you're trippin. That had more to do with his loss than anything, IMO.

He wasn't in his right state of mind. The commission took the wraps to investigate, so he knew he was in deep shit. How could he have possibly had a clear enough mind to fight Mosley immediately after?

I'm a Mosley fan, but 4 out of his last 5 fights, he has looked like shit...and every bit his age. I give Mosley credit for the Margarito win, but you'd be ignorant to think Margarito was actually in that fight at all.

At first I wasn't going to order this but after seeing this quick faceoff I think I will.... I gotta order and watch a big fight since Mayweather is off doing other things.

I think this fight is going to be a war. I don't see Pacquiao knocking this dude out though. I said the same about Cotto too....
