Your whole dumbass arguement is that Manny fights ''shot fighters''...
Most recently, you've named Cotto and Margarito. The same fighters Floyd ducked. Yet Shane Mosley, who Floyd fought and almost got knocked out by before his old ass gassed out, is a quality win? The same Shane that was exposed against Sergio Mora? Or did Floyd destroy Shane that much, Shane was a ''shot'' fighter after their fight? Or Juan Manuel Marquez? That's a good, quality win? Making a fighter move up two weight classes to face you, and then not even making weight? The difference between when Manny fought Marquez and when Floyd fought him was that weight: Manny was the SAME SIZE as Marquez; Floyd literally had to cheat to get an extra advantage. By your logic, though, wouldn't Marquez have been a ''shot'' fighter after facing Manny? If Cotto was shot after Mosley and Margarito, and Margarito was shot after Shane, then Marquez was a shot fighter, too.
I didn't forget Ricky Hatton, either. I'm sure he was shot, too. Floyd got the win, no doubt, and a good win, too. But he didn't destroy Hatton, didn't seriously hurt him. The KO was a good KO, but it wasn't that devestating to label him a ''shot'' fighter. That's just an excuse you can use because you're afraid to give Manny some props, or even say he might have a better win than Floyd. Manny almost knocked Ricky's head into the 4th row. He looked like he died. LOL. It was that great. Yet he was shot...yeah.
You won't give Manny credit for the De La Hoya fight, although he fucking destroyed Oscar, yet Floyd should get some? Floyd barely beat him, and there's plenty of people who think he could have lost that fight. Old, washed up Oscar. Yet "shot" after Floyd fought him.
Maybe instead of fighting Carlos Baldomir, Floyd should have fought some of these legitimate welterweights. Maybe instead of bitching about who Manny has fought, you should look at who Floyd HAS NOT fought. 1-2 years ago, was Manny in a position to fight Margarito? NO. THAT is why he fought him at this time. Was Floyd? YES. He retired, instead. 2 years ago, was Manny in a position to fight Miguel Cotto? NO. Was Floyd? YES. He retired, instead.
It is what it is, though. You can have your opinion.

Carlos Baldomir was the legitimate welterweight champ after he beat Judah, he had the WBO, IBO, and IBA. Mayweatge Cotto become a welterweight on 12-2-06 Mayweather fought DLN 5-5-07, but Mayweather was ducking Cotto for 6 months right? I'm sorry but Mayweather beat Ricky Hatton up pretty bad and at his own game of inside fighting over ten rounds, also made him hit the turn buckle. Hatton was done after that fight the bully got bullied by his own style of fighting. The reason why Mayweather never fought Cotto, Margarito, or Manny is pretty easy Bob Arum and Top Rank. I guess you forgot that Mayweather bought himself out of his Top Rank contract before the DLH fight at 150lb. Fight DHL for 25 million and be a free agent or fight Cotto/Margarito for 10 million and Top Rank will have an option on your next fight, which one would you take? ^^no one cares if he fought oscar and or ricky, no problem with making money. the problem a lot of people had was he "retired" at a time when the welterweight division was the best it had been in years with margarito, cotto, mosley & williams all kicking ass.
and it looks like he's doing the exact same shit again. take a couple fights, then take a couple years off, wait for everyone to fight eachother beat eachother up then come out of hiding or I mean vacation/retirement. that's what it seems like what floyd does now.
everyone knows floyd is extremely gifted fighter. he is awesome in the ring. no one disputes this. what fucking sucks, and is obvious to everyone but a couple faithful fans, is he doesn't challenge himself anymore. if he did he would be fighting the cotto's and margarito's and pacquiao's. but he doesn't, he doesn't take those kinds of risks
