I think after Castillo Floyd stopped challenging himself. I think up till that point he was willing to fight anyone, anytime, to prove he was the best, to prove he could beat them. After that, I think he probably started looking at things a little different, maybe looking at easier paths and then only the big money fights.

Recently, the mosley fight was a very good win, and that was a bit of a challenge and he deserves credit for it, but still under the circumstances it sort of felt like he had to take the fight rather than he wanted the fight. Nonetheless a great win for him. But really since Castillo, not too many big challenges - Gatti, Baldimor, Judah, Oscar, Hatton...Solid wins, but missing the tough opponents the Cotto's, Margarito's, Clottey's, etc. and there always was an excuse not to fight someone not enough money, they lost X amount of times, etc etc etc.
He ain't hungry.

JReezelle, Actually Cotto softed him up, then Mosley beat the shit out of him, and Manny ended him. Good win for Manny and a entertaining fight to watch.. Let's not forget Stoney was KO'ed by old man Mosley in 2009. Mayweather vs Pac-Man has to happen. Manny take the test and Mayweather sign the contract. These two fighters are clearly the best in boxing. Fuck the sideshow BS. I want to see them two fight to truly see who's number 1.

Pacquiao gets clean bill of health after checkup in LA
11/16/2010 | 12:08 PM

After doubts over his body pains, Filipino boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao received a clean bill of health from doctors at a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday.

Radio dzBB reported doctors found no fracture, strained muscle or ruptures particularly in the right side of Pacquiao's body, which sustained blows from Antonio Margarito last Sunday (Manila time).

It said Pacquiao is now on his way to an airport where he will proceed to Lake Tahoe for a concert.

The report by Chino Trinidad said Pacquiao was even smiling, in contrast to his grimacing when he was wracked with pain after the bout with Margarito.

But the champ said his injuries could have been worse had he not exercised properly during his training.

Earlier Tuesday, Pacquiao went to the hospital to undergo a checkup, including a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test on the right side of his body. The medical device took images of muscles and tissues inside his body.

The dzBB report said Pacquiao is due to board a flight back to Manila on Saturday, and will arrive early Monday (Manila time).

Cops rolled over to Floyd Mayweather's Las Vegas home tonight after a private security guard claimed the championship boxer poked him in the face during an incident in Floyd's gated community ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... a private security guard who was patrolling inside Floyd's gated community drove up to Floyd's house a few hours ago to confront the boxer about a parking situation.

We're told the security guard rolled down his window to talk to Floyd ... and that's when Floyd allegedly unleashed his finger -- striking the dude in the face.

Cops were called to the scene and knocked on Floyd's door -- but we're told the boxer refused to open up.

We're told since Floyd was only suspected of a misdemeanor battery -- and because the alleged incident didn't take place in front of a police officer -- cops merely took a report and did not make an arrest.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops plan to turn the case over to the D.A., who will decide whether or not to press charges.

Yeah, isn't it funny that Pacquiao has destroyed the guys people were crying for Floyd to fight before he retired.

Cotto and Margarito, most notably. Obviously they had a war with each other before Pacquiao fought them, but these are arguably the most accomplished welterweights in recent years, and Floyd has fought none of them.

Especially Cotto. His resume at 147 is arguably one of the most impressive, in terms of opposition faced.

the faces of pacquiao's recent opponents, besides clottey:

I find it odd that fighters that rarely had problems with swelling have had their faces mangled by Pacquiao. I'll be it's only a matter of time before people start questioning if he loads his wraps illegally too. Mark my words.

Look at the difference in Margarito's face after his fight with Mosley and the fight with Pacquiao and Mosley is supposed to be the harder puncher and didn't miss all night

nah man, mosley is the harder puncher than pacquiao it's just that pacquiao landed over 400 punches on his face whereas mosley knocked him out in half that.

the reason most of these guys faces are swollen is because they are able to go the distance or into the late rounds against pacquiao, which means they are taking a shitload of punches to the face. Look at ricky hatton, his face was completely unmarked but he got knocked the fuck out in 2 rounds against pacquiao. It's the effects of a prolonged beating.

anyways, look at margarito's face against Cotto. He's face was the most swollen I'd ever seen up to that point. pacqiao is a harder puncher than cotto and he lands double what cotto did on margarito.

btw, pacquiao wrapped his hands while the video camera's were taping him the entire time and there were two people from Garcia's camp watching and people from the boxing commission watching as well. You honestly think he's going to load his gloves illegally with everyone watching?? come on bro, not everything is a conspiracy. Pac is a great fighter, simple as that.
