floyd the favorite over manny? who says? the mayweather camp?

and...

rios over ortiz? :ermm:

lol
Vegas and any online gambling site that is allowing you to place bets. The lines may have changed since the Margarito fight. Last time I checked Floyd was about -115 through -120

Ortiz reminds me of Panchito Bojado. They both have the same style, personality, and work ethics.

I would definitely bet on a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather. Manny still fights with a lot of flaws. I think Floyd picks him apart if they ever fight.

Shame on Fernando "slur of speech" Vargas for cheering when Margarito was talking about not giving up. I don't agree with giving up in all cases but someone should've stopped the fight for Margs man. He was out of the fight for awhile before the 12th. Shame on his corner for that crap

I read that the Ortiz/Rios beef stems from Ortiz just not vibing with Robert Garcia and choosing to ditch Robert to work with his brother Danny.

After this falling out, Brandon sided with Robert, Causing him and Ortiz to start in on each other, with Victor and some folks running up in Brandon's crib and scaring his lady who may have bumped her head in the process.

^^^ Just some shit I read, kind of ridiculous, but no more than the rumor that Ortiz fucked Rios' girl (Rios openly denies this one by the way). Rios will only say that 'it's personal'.

I'm partial to believe that the different trainer issue added to the fact that Rios is just a diahrea of the mouth havin fool that likes to kick up dust (I like him in the ring though) and Ortiz is kind of a pretty boy mother fucker (also a good fighter) create a natural rivalry.

Great performance by Pacquiao.

Sometimes his eagerness to please the crowd gets him hit a little more than he should be getting hit. One thing that he doesn't get praised too much for is his chin. The guy can take a shot, and from much bigger guys.

I think Margarito's corner failed him. They should have stopped that fight, and did their jobs and protected their fighter. Hopefully he can come back, even though he might never be the same. 4 rounds of an unnecessary beating he took during the final 4.

Rigondeaux is a talented work in progress, but that fight was a fucking snoozefest.

The Soto-Karass-Jones fight was entertaining, and I knew that Jones was putting all of his eggs in one basket in that 2nd round. Most of those shots in that 90 punch flurry didn't even land. I thought Soto-Karass won that fight, honestly.

By the way: Larry Merchant > Max Kellerman

Kellerman annoys me for some reason.

Rigondeaux disappointed me. Hopefully he learns from that fight. He has so much potential but needs to realize this is the entertainment business. Not only that, keeping guys in the fight like that is bad, nearly cost him the fight.

Mike Jones proved he really isn't all that great. I mean, shit I guess you can say he blew his load in the second round but you'd think you'd recovered after a couple rounds...not the entire fight! I think a kelly pavlik or any top level MW would knock him out.

I didn't see the fight but from what i'm reading looks like the fight was a 1 sided beatdown. Props to Manny and it looks like Margarito ain't shit without the loaded gloves.

Floyd would beat Manny because Floyd is a skilled boxer. Manny's timing and rythm would get thrown off tryin to fuck with Floyd.

Enough of the Mayweather would do "______"

The fact of the matter is that Floyd did not want the fight. Period.

“That was the kind of performance that could make Floyd (Mayweather) want to go to jail.” – Michael Buffer – ring announcer

“Fantastic, really fantastic.” – Professor Azumah Nelson – Hall of Fame fighter

“That was not something you see from a normal human being…It was unworldly, not what Manny was able to do but also how perfectly he did it. It was really just awesome.” – Nonito Donaire – world champion

“Incredible, really incredible, I was so impressed.” – Juan Manuel Lopez – boxer

“Manny put on a great, great show and Margarito tried everything. Pacman was just brilliant and he looked unbeatable because a guy who is almost unhittable and hits you with four or five shots to your one, well, you won’t beat him.” - Trainer Joe Goossen

lol tony you still on pbf's coattail? it really should be obvious to the whole fuckin world that pbf don't want the business wit pac. pbf's skills, defense, counters, runnin and hidin won't be enough to stop the speed, power, footwork, 5-6 punch combos comin from unorthodox angles. and that's a mufuckin fact!

Like I said, props to Manny for beating up on Margarito. But don't get too excited because style wise, Flody is the exact opposite of Margarito. Margarito is not a skilled "boxer", he's a club fighter that is too easy to hit and too slow counter punch effectively. Shane spanked the same dude and then Shane got spanked by Floyd.

When/if Floyd and Manny do get down, Floyd is going to make Manny think. If Floyd can get past his legal troubles he's going to beat Manny.
