Well there is one. We're not an incredibly storied franchise (yet) but we do have a banner in the rafters, moron.
First of all, I made both of those statements, dumb fuck. The groundwork is in place, AND Portland will get another title before LA does. The Kobe led Lakers are never going to win a title. Bet on that. Kobe is going to have fantastic individual stats and zero rings in his post shaq career.

And we all know what a great indicator of success in the NBA the summer league is, because Tim Duncan was horrible in summer league and his NBA career has been terrible too. You made the "ITS CONSENSUS THAT PORTLAND WILL GET A TITLE BEFORE LA" first, and that's what I called bullshit on! I could care less about the 'groundwork' comment because that's not the issue.
The issue is, if youre gonna make a grand statement like the first, you should be able to back it up - if not, ITS BULLSHIT, get it?

BUT...If I say "ITS CONSENSUS" - then I should be able to prove that, right? I should be able to find articles on sports sites or newspaper sites that substantiate the EXISTENCE OF CONSENSUS.
Where oh where is this consensus?? I've looked high and low, and just can't find any consensus that the Blazers will win a championship before the Lakers

Its my assessment that Portland will win one before the Lakers do. You're not nearly as smart as you think you are. It is your own reading and comprehension skills that you need to call into question because you will not find one instance in this thread of me saying that the consensus is that Portland will win a title before LA.
