Come on, buddy. Try to focus. Oden is officially on the roster. He is under contract. He is the future. Nobody said Portland will win a title THIS year. In fact I will guarantee it wont happen this year. But keep in mind that next year and for many years to come, Oden will be the franchise center, and the MVP of the European league will come over to take his spot on the roster. In case you haven't noticed, Portland has the brightest future of any team in the league. Our biggest problem is going to be getting rid of Darius Miles. Your biggest problem is that Kobe is virtually untradeable and a Kobe led team will never win a title.

And the injury that Oden has now is the same one that Amare had a few years ago and Amare is looking just fine. You should also take into account that Oden's injury was detected VERY early and was less severe than Amare's. Basically Oden gets a full year to add weight to throw around next year. And how long have you been watching basketball? You think Roy and Aldridge are going to peak NEXT YEAR??!!? You realize next year Roy will only be 24 and Aldridge will only be 23? It is highly unusual for ANY player to be entering their prime at that age, and even more rare for a player to peak for one season and then steadily decline. Lol @ foul trouble over summer league games, there have been many of players who are highly regarded, then go into summer league a rack up 9-10 fouls a game. Aldridge will be even better when teams have to double oden and that frees up aldridge on the weak side block, if you watched them play together is summer league you would know this... its gonna be scary for the rest of the league
