No, the AFC just sucked that year. The Niners were equipped to beat every AFC team in 2002.. They beat the AFC Champs to prove it.. And they were clearly not the best team in the NFC.

The whole point is you were saying that Niner fans always dog your raiders, even in 02 when they were conference champs.. All I'm trying to say is that Niner fans were in position to do so. It's not like we were 2-14 the year you guys made it to the Bowl and we were still clownin. Both teams were good and the Niners proved to be the better team, so of course they're gonna have some harsh shit to say about the raiders. Why not?

the funny thing is since then the 9ers and raiders have had pretty much the exact same record each year (except last year) yet all I ever hear is how bad the raiders are and how great the 9ers are

I dont care what I make us look like. Shit were raider fans people already think low of us because of dumb shit in the past anyways. Im given yall knowledge and come season time you can quote any prediction I say and I would bet anything im right. Like the fact that I gaurantee the raiders will win more than 4 or 5 games.

Well the way these 9er fans make it seem it is... my prediction as of right now is 7-8 but I havent seen the offense play any preseason games or anything yet, thats how im going to base my official prediction on the offense.

I don't see how you raider fans think they're gonna win 8 games. You have an inexperienced coach, a rookie QB who will probably ride the bench while a backup QB starts, they didn't make any big signings in the offseason, the core of the worst unit on your squad (the offensive line) is still in place, the defense is the same but they weren't as good as you'd like to believe last year.. I can go on but you get the point. So I'm just curious as to how you guys figure they will go from 2 wins to 8 wins or more when they haven't even made any major improvements. If it happens I will no doubt give props where it is due, but as of right now there are absolutely no indications that it will.

I believe that although I have much respect for the man Art Shell his coaching schemes were just outdated... I mean pretty much the whole team didnt like his coaching ways. So what if we have a rookie quarterback the chicago bears made it to the super bowl with Rex Grossman who played as inconsistent as a rookie quarterback, but the had a great defense and no matter how overrated you guys think our defense is I still beleive it is ELITE. I just want to see how newberry and carlisle are going to do in the preseason so I can get an idea if our line has been improved. Tom Cable I believe is our offensive cordinator now and they ran the leagues leading rush team last year so with the additions of Bush and Rhodes I believe we can accomplish a lot more with our run game this year. Your right there our no indications right now but when the time comes youll see.
