If you hate America so much....if you disagree with our Foreign policy, Capitalism, the fact that the country is moving more and more right every year........why don't you leave? I'm not saying renounce your citizenship, but why not take off for a bit?

Not forever, but just a couple of years. You can even still vote in the mail in the elections. You can go check out Cuba, Argentina, France, or one of these other paradises of yours where poverty doesn't exist and all education and health care is free. And hell, you're an American, so it'd probably be easier for you to get naturalized than some other damn foreigner.

I definately feel shame, anger, & sorrow for our 'Gov't' actions, (b/c it represents me as a citizen whether I like it or not). At the same time I understand we enjoy the highest standards of living in history. However, the question is, at what price are we willing to pay for this 'life style of acheiving the "American Dream." Do we sacrifice civil and human rights elsewhere to enjoy our cable and Mickey D's domestically?

Capitalism does provide material possesions which are necessary (no doubt about that). However, the saying 'Absolute power corrupts absolutley' is not just a saying but FACT. The fundamental prinicples of Democracy as stated in the Declaration of Indepence are great ideals. However, we are moving away from a 'True Democracy' rather than closer (as would hope & and expect as time moves forward). If you have studied biology, you will understand that diversity is essential for any culture to survive and flourish. W/ the omission of pseudo social/communist philosophy impletented into our 'shitstem' where is the counter balance to the radical Right-Wing, Capitalist, Facist, Oligarchical Republic?
