lol, Mayweather outclassed Marquez who even Max Kellerman said won that 2nd fight against Manny and then beat the most relevant fighter at 147 besides Manny.

The jury is still out on Berto. Berto hardly won the fight with Luis Collazo (I'd say it was a draw, if not a loss) who has no notable wins, a close loss to Hatton, and has only been a pro since 2000. The only other name on Berto's resume is Quintana.

Mosley handily dominated Collazo- lack of KO is hardly relevant.

I could say a lot more about the guy, but let's just say he's not ready for Pac in any way.

All of these choices are either

A. Too green and could get fucked up badly (Khan, Chavez, Berto, Bradley, Alexander)
B. Been Beaten already (Marquez, Cotto)
C. Too big (martinez, williams)

or

d. Sugar Shane Mosley.

I choose D.

lets says he fought mosley and beats him i can already predict what bigface would say oh he was damage goods after the beating floyd gave him i rather see manny fight a younger fighter not someone who is gonna be almost 40 when they fight

i find it funny that everyone wants manny to fight the best fighters or he is a pussy but if mayweather fights average fighters no mayweather fans complain cause he won and is still undefeated
Lol, it's the other way around. People want Floyd to fight the best fighters (which he does) and if he doesn't fight who the critics think he should he's a ducker.

Hatton was at the top of the division with an undefeated record when he fought Floyd. He hadn't lost a fight till he stepped in there with Floyd.

Shane was at the top (after knocking out Margarito) of his division when he fought Floyd.

Who was as the "top" of their division when Manny beat them? Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito wasn't. He's just beating up on Arum's stable of fighters.

Manny fights people like Cotto (who was already beaten up by Margarito), then fights Clottey (who already had lost to Margarito and Cotto) and then fights Margarito (who had already been knocked out by Shane).... but he's the greatest boxer in this era.

Manny had the opportunity to take on the best boxer of this area, but punked out over an Olympic Style blood test, then later on "supposedly" agrees to the same test he said he didn't want to take.

^^Hatton was not top of 147 when Floyd beat him. Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Cintron and Paul Wiliams were. Hatton was the #1 guy and the Ring Champ when Pacquiao beat him at his natural weight of 140 pounds though.

Cotto was also a champion when pacquiao beat him and clottey was a top 5 guy, so I don't know what you're complaining about, especially when you throw in the fact that Pacquiao was moving up in weight in each fight (to hatton, to cotto, to clottey, to margarito).

and please don't even start on the drug testing man, you know damn well the same could be said about floyd (that he punked out for his ludicrous demands, etc.)

A)Even though Floyd was the bigger draw at the time, Floyd agreed to a 50/50 split.
B)Floyd agreed to the ring size that Manny wanted.
C)Floyd agreed to the glove size that Manny wanted.
D)Manny wanted Floyd fined 10 million dollars "per" pound that Floyd came in overweight. Floyd agreed.

All Manny had to agree with was getting his blood tested Olympic Style going into the fight with a 2 week cut off period to prove that he's not on PED's. Manny said no and then gave his excuses or "reasons"..... then turns around and says that he agreed to the Olympic Style drug testing the 2nd time negotiations fell through.

So what happened to the reasons or excuses that he used the 1st time to back out?

Yeah, because we'd be talking about a rematch right now.

Speaking of the Raiders, why haven't we gone head up on Madden yet? I know you're in a new house now and I know your connection is good to go.

Berto has the hand speed to deal with Pacquiao. He's a top fighter with an undefeated record. If/when he gets pacquiao in trouble, he's going to finish him off, that's why I say Berto will knock Pacquiao clean out.

My connection still isn't up to par, thinking about getting comcast soon. fuck the bullshit.

Berto has the hand speed to deal with Pacquiao.
He doesn't have much of a defense though so while berto has good handspeed can he deal with pac's handspeed?

He's a top fighter with an undefeated record.
undefeated record means nothing when there aren't any quality names on it.

If/when he gets pacquiao in trouble, he's going to finish him off, that's why I say Berto will knock Pacquiao clean out.
maaaan, berto couldn't even hurt Urango (who 140 pound devon alexander knocked clean the fuck out) and berto consistently fights smaller guys like Stevie Forbes and rarely does any damage. this is kind of embarrassing to think berto would knock pacquiao out, especially after pac just proved how good his chin is after taking shots from a 165 pound margarito.

Berto has literally fought one good opponent and that was Luis Collazo, who arguably beat berto and had him on queer street. Other than that he's fought 140 pounders (Urango, Forbes) and quintana.

again, I'd like to point out that berto has pretty poor defense and his footwork is terrible. I would love to see pacquao dance around berto with his superior feet and quicker hands and pepper berto with shots all night. Berto has good handspeed, ok power and really that's about it man. I love berto but be real.

Berto couldn't have been any worse than a shot Margarito, I'm being real. Critics always talk about how Floyd doesn't take on any challenges but here we have Pacquiao doing what the critics say Floyd is doing.

Berto would floor Pacquiao....

Margarito wasn't shot homie, did you watch the fight? oh right you only read about it...

If you had watched it, you would have seen margarito putting extreme pressure on pacquiao, getting him caught up against the ropes at times and looking like regular old margarito and landing some monster shots on pacman. He wasn't shot just out-classed.

But really that's all you can come up with is berto would floor pacquiao? there is no reason behind the statement it's just an empty statement.

btw, critics aren't criticizing pacquiao right now because pacquiao is fighting bigger men while floyd is on extended vacations and getting in trouble with the law. Huge difference.

I just want to see Pacquiao beat someone while they are at the top of their game and in the prime of their careers. The last time I can recall he fought someone while in their prime was Morales.

If Marquez gave Pacman fits, Berto would really give him trouble. He don't want it with Berto. We'll probably see Pacman fight someone that everyone knows he can/will beat, and then the victory will get glorified just like it's getting glorified now.

Who was Margarito (without the "plaster") anyway?
