That's good news if you ask me (in regards to Pacquiao being on Floyd's mind).... Floyd is coming for Pacquiao.... Yeah he's on his mind because he wants to beat Pacquiao up and he's going to go it when he gets the urge (and when/if Pacquiao agrees to the random testing with no cut off date).

Don't fool yourselves Pacquiao fans.... Floyd is just letting the hype/hate build up more and more and then he's going to beat Pacquiao to shut all of y'all up.

Tony, seriously. Get Floyd's nuts out of your view of vision...because its preventing you from seeing the truth.

Funny thing is, in the ESPN interview yesterday, Pacquiao said he was praying for Floyd to get through his personal problems.

Floyd Tweets links to Pacquiao fights over 10 years ago, like a mad little bitch. Dan Rafael hit the nail on the head on that article.

Floyd comes off as a jealous coward, and now you can add wife beater to that.

Dude is pathetic, and the only respect I have for the guy is inside the ring. Other than that, he seems like a baby who cries when Pacquiao is making headlines...when Floyd has to cry out to be heard.

Your blind support for the guy baffles me Tony.

You get off of Pacquiao's nuts. You can talk bad about Floyd all you want, but when it's all said and done, Pacquiao's name is going to be on Floyd's resume and Floyd is going to be 42-0. He'll fight when he's ready.

In essence, it's good news to fight fans that Floyd is still talking/stalking Pacquiao. Because when he gets that "urge" back it's going to be on. Just continue to hope that Pacquiao will beat Floyd because that's all you got his "hope". When they step in the ring, Floyd is going to KO Pacquiao like he did Hatton.

Pacquiao's already got taxed once and even knocked out so it won't be nothing new.

Pacquiao's presidential meeting a bitter pill to swallow for Floyd Mayweather

http://www.examiner.com/fight-sports...ential-meeting

Undoubtedly one of the biggest stories in boxing so far this year has been welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao's visit to the U.S Senate yesterday and his behind closed doors meeting with President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

Despite several promotional quotes doing the rounds however, Pacquiao isn't the first boxer to meet a U.S president. Muhammad Ali for example has met several over the years, Rocky Marciano met Dwight Eisenhower and more recently Sugar Ray Leonard met Ronald Reagan.
What makes Pacquiao's achievement notable though is the fact that he is a foreigner who met the president at a time when there was a similarly famous American fighter in Floyd Mayweather.

More than just Pacquiao himself though, the fact that a boxer of any kind is being hosted at the White House is a sure sign that boxing is gaining in popularity after having been very much a niche sport for the past couple of decades.

Of course the meeting had it's uses for the president as well. With Pacquiao on side he will likely be able to garner extra votes during the election in much the same way as Democrat senator Harry Reid was able to last year with Pacquiao's endorsement.
For Pacquiao and Top Rank, this was a chance to promote Pacquiao's upcoming fight against Shane Mosley in May, the lead up shows to whcih will be broadcast on Showtime and CBS, potentially increasing the final pay per view figures.

One person who certainly won't be celebrating the meeting is Floyd Mayweather.
As Pacquiao's chief rival and contender for the still hotly debated number one pound for pound ranking, Mayweather believes rightly or wrongly that he is the better fighter of the two and that many of the accolades being bestowed on Pacquiao should be his.

Mayweather at least in the United States, is probably still a more recognizable star than Pacquiao at the moment, if only by virtue of nationality. Outside boxing circles he has a big following within hip-hop culture, and can regularly be seen consorting with rappers and celebrities at all manner of events. He also has his own record label such as it is and has plans to release several films over the next few years through his new self titled production company.
Because of this, the fact that it is Pacquiao and not himself who was given a private audience with the president is sure to have grated on Mayweather's nerves. Doubly so because of the fact that Floyd publicly endorsed the president before he was elected and appeared at several events to support his campaign.

Despite this though, this time it isn't a case of Mayweather not being given recognition that he feels he deserves. As usual, it is Mayweather's own actions that have proven to be his downfall.
(Article: Mayweather hinting at possible Pacquiao fight or just looking for attention?)

His ever expanding rap sheet coupled with constant baseless accusations of steroid abuse from fellow fighters are sure to have closed doors to opportunities that Pacquiao can take full advantage of. As have his desperate attempts at gaining attention to the detriment of others.

Not even a single day after Pacquiao's meeting with President Obama, and Mayweather was looking to pull focus from the Filipino icon. Choosing today of all days to post pictures of himself at the Super Bowl with former president Bush and Jerry Jones. Which in itself is exactly the kind of behaviour keeping him from ever meeting the present one.

He's going to whip Pacquiao pretty bad. There could be only one true pound for pound king.... and that's the undefeated Mayweather.

I'm beginning to think that Pac is juicin'.... I just watched the youtube clips that Floyd posted on his twitter.

Pacquiao was a skinny dude getting knocked out by body punches, now he can't even be knocked down. I think he started juicin' after he cried after getting beat by Morales. I mean he did complain about this power or Morales not being able to feel his power.... and we know what happened to Morales in the rematches.

My little brother used to be that size. Around 120 or so.
All he did was lift and eat more, and he's about 145 now. Still skinny but its not hard to put on weight as long as you train and eat enough. Took him about 5 years and he did it naturally.

With a proper cycle you can go from 120 to 145 in 12 weeks.

I'd love to hear about Manny using PED's as much as you do, but I just don't see it. They aren't drastic changes.

I think he's on Growth Hormone if anything.
Anything more than that would be a little surprising.

you are truly an imbecile.

pacquiao's two early losses he was a teenager. His second KO loss he couldn't even make weight and lost his belt before the fight even started, he was so weight drained that immediately after losing he went up TWO WEIGHT CLASSES. Who the hell moves up two weight classes? that should tell you how badly he was struggling to make the weight limit (after all he was a boy when he started boxing he naturally out grew those small weight classes).

Eric Morales is a future hall of famer and a Mexican legend. No shame in losing to him. In fact Morales is a better fighter than anyone floyd ever fought. But besides that, watch how one dimensional pac was in that fight. Trust me I've seen that fight a number of times because it's a damn good fight. Pac did the same move every time. So easily countered by a guy like Morales.

Compare that version of pacquiao who lost to Morales the first time, to the guy who's beat Cotto, Hatton, Oscar, Margarito, etc. It's almost night and day. Pay attention to Pac's footwork and balance especially, in addition to his combination punching (no longer does pac only have a left hand). Pacquiao has evolved a great deal since then. He no longer is one dimensional, he no longer relies on that same move every time. He has a wide range of arsonal now and he's a smarter fighter.

Don't let your man love for floyd blind you so badly man, it's embarrassing to see.

And once again, about the weight, Floyd Mayweather also was boxing at 108 pounds at 16 years of age. The only difference was Floyd had the luxury of fighting in the amateurs, whereas pacquiao was forced to turn pro at 16 because he needed to eat

Bob Arum:

"I look at the fighter. And if Marquez's monetary demands are reasonable, and Manny Pacquiao gets by Mosley, and [Floyd] Mayweather is not available for November, then Marquez goes into the batter's box," said Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum.

"I have been told that his contract is over with Golden Boy Promotions on Feb. 20, and then that there is a 30 days period where they have exclusive negotiations with him. It's a big fight with Marquez, but not as big as the Mosley fight. But when you look at what's around, Marquez is bigger than any fight other than the Mayweather fight."

Looks like they want no part of Andre Berto huh.... He's a champion but Pacquiao won't face him for his belt.... wonder why? Because Pacquiao has been knocked out by one punch before and Berto has that one punch KO power.

How about berto fights a 147 pound fighter first maybe? berto is a nobody in the game right now with 500 fans.

berto does not have one punch ko power. just because he KO'd a bum doesn't mean he has KO power.

He couldn't ko Urango (140 pounds), Stevie Forbes (140 pounds), or Collazo.

LOL, 206 you're crazy..... who was that black dude supposed to be? Floyd Mayweather? I hate Soy sauce anyway....
man, lighten the fuck up. it's a new commercial in the Philippines.

Mosley is going to put on a show by grappling and holding his way to a lopsided loss by UD. And at the end of the fight, Pacquiao is going to say, "I was trying to fight but he kept holding"

I'm telling you, people are going to be in for a big disappointment when they see how hard of a time Manny going to have with Mosley. I repeat Mosley is not going to be weight drained for this fight and that's going to make a big difference.
