I tried to explain the best way I can to you Heresy... I already answered those questions in my previous posts. A 10 million dollar per every pound you're overweight is unheard of too but Pacquiao asked for it and he got it.

Here's the thing.

Floyd Mayweather agreed in writing to a 144 catch weight in the Marquez fight. He was not able to make weight.

There was a base for the hefty weight limit penalty.

Like I've been saying, the additional tests did not seem so absurd when Mosley was asked to undergo them, because again...he has had a history with using PED's in the past.

why didn't floyd ask oscar da la hoya to take PED tests? It has been WIDELY speculated in the boxing world that oscar was doping throughout his career. Many people believe this is the reason he NEVER protested the Mosley loss, which Mosley was on PED's for, which clearly warrants a ruling of a No Contest. Oscar's drug tests results, in the state of Nevada, mysteriously DISAPPEARED for ever. When respected boxing journalists like Thomas Hauser request Oscar and the Nevada state commission to release all Oscar's drug test results, it fell of deaf ears.

But Floyd never had a problem with drug testing. Not until Manny Pacquiao was a possible opponent. Someone who never was believed to be on PED's. Someone who passed all drug tests which were always available to the public, no secrecy like Oscar.

Things like this is why people question Floyd's motives, Tony. You don't sabotage the richest fight in boxing history for a drug test.

Anything regarding weight falls under the jurisdiction of the sanctioning body. BTW, there is nothing wrong with the stipulation. Refer to the Marquez fight and the stipulations for it and you'll know why I say this.

Shane isn't asking for Pac to be tested because:

Shane doesn't think Pac is juicin'
Shane needs a good payday
Yet Shane was a willing pawn in this "Let's clean up the sport" charade...

Is Morebass the only cat that understands (even though he may disagree) what I am sayin'?
Even though you aren't making sense I understand what you're trying to convey. However, your love for Floyd has blinded you and caused severe bias. You can't look at this objectively and call things for what they truly are.

The fact is Floyd only started coming with this "Let's clean up the sport" shit when Pac was placed in front of him as a threat. So the best way to champion the cause and plant seeds was to get an admitted ped user to agree to the cause and stipulations. Once that was done, all he had to do was sit back and continue to make demands and do it on the grounds that he wants to clean up the sport.

Got you.... I've been seeing what you're saying bruh.... Floyd doesn't have anything to base asking for Olympic Style Drug Testing for Pacquiao on.... that's your point. I got you...

Good points....

I'm not Floyd Mayweather. So I don't know what his reasons really are though.

If I am Floyd, I would smash Pac with or without PED's or the drug testing because I don't believe Pac is juicin'. But I'm not the undefeated Floyd Mayweather.... he's putting a lot on the line. He has more to lose than Pac does.

I guess Floyd ain't trippin', check out what he's been up to these days

I have no problem with that. Live it up! You only live life once and if you can lay out on a yacht with a breezy more power to you.

But at the end of the day, if they don't fight they will say this "Floyd was a good fighter but he didn't fight Pacquiao."

"Floyd is Finished" - Zab Judah

Zab Judah: "I had seen Floyd yesterday and asked, 'Are you going to get back in there?’ Mayweather told me he’s finished."

Zab Judahby Geoffrey Ciani (Ep. 110: Published February 1, 2011) This week’s 110th edition of On the Ropes Boxing Radio featured an exclusive interview with former two-division world champion Zab Judah (40-6, 27 KOs), who spoke about his upcoming fight, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and more! Here is some of what he had to say:

On whether he believes we will ever see Floyd Mayweather Junior return to the ring given his recent troubles outside the ring:

“(laughs) That’s funny. I had seen Floyd yesterday and asked, Are you going to get back in there?’ Mayweather told me he’s finished. He said he was just going to chill. He’s thinking about taking a two year break and I mean listen. The man worked hard for a long time. He maintained an undefeated record and he maintained a great position in the game of boxing. Well I look at that like, ‘Listen champ, you’re going to lay off and I’m going to pick up’ and that’s it. He’s going to fall back. We’re going to pick up the marbles and keep it moving. That’s it.”

His views on Manny Pacquiao as a fighter:

“I think it will be a great fight. I think that will be great. Pac-Man right now, he’s got the game by storm right now. He’s got the world’s eyes. Pacquiao’s got the world’s attention. Bob Arum put together a great strategy plan for him as a promoter. He went in there and picked the right fights and the right designed things for him, and he’s moving on and starting to fill the fantasies. Right now he’s got the game on lock, Pacquiao.

His views on the upcoming fight between Pacquiao and Shane Mosley:

“I mean hey, it’s a boxing match. The man who works the hardest, the man with the better skills, it’s going to pay off. It’s definitely going to be a good fight. I think this Kaizer Mabuza-Zab Judah fight is going to be worth the world checking out. You’re going to get to see. I mean I got a new pair of legs guys. My defense is, oh my God! It’s going to be fun guys. I just don’t want anyone to miss it. You got to understand I’m far from cocky. I’m a very modest humble person, but my confidence is through the roof right now. I got one person to blame for that, my trainer Pernell Whitaker. You know what I’m saying. He came in there and he just showed me a lot of great things and reminded me. For those of ya’ll who remember Pernell Whitaker, he was no joke. I mean he was one of the baddest defensive fighters in the world. So with that coming into my party now, I think we’re going to have some fun guys.”

On how he feels he would fare in a fight against Pacquiao:

“I don’t know. It would be an interesting fight because we’re both left-handed. But after Kaizer Mabuza I can make more elaborations on that because my style right now is not focused on left-handers. My style is focused on fighting right-handers, coming forward, throwing a lot of punches, and working his butt off. So that’s the kind of style I’m working on breaking down right now.”

A List Of Reasons Why Some People Hate Manny Pacquiao

It takes a very disturbing and sick minded individual to hold any type of hate in their heart for someone as humble and caring as Manny Pacquiao. I admit at one point I was rooting against Manny Pacquiao and that was when my favorite fighter Miguel Cotto was going up against him. After Manny beat him I realized that one of the greatest fighters of all time just beat my favorite fighter fair and square, and I became an instant fan of the Pacman.
Here is a list of the types of people who tend to hate on Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and the reasons why they discredit his wins every chance they get. (In no particular order)

1.) The ones that bet big against Manny Pacquiao and lost a lot of money. I don't blame them, imagine if you bet a couple thousand against Pacquiao and lost it all, how would you feel? I would feel angry too.
2.) The ones whose favorite fighters were beaten up badly by the Pacman. Many of the diehard fans of Ricky Hatton, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Oscar De La Hoya, and Miguel Cotto were left with a bitter taste in their mouth after Pacquiao defeated their favorite fighter, so everytime the Pacman fights they root against him out of spite.

3.) Floyd Mayweather fans. The diehard Mayweather fanboys dislike anyone else who is a threat to Mayweather and gets positive media attention and praise, while their role model Money Mayweather gets blasted. The Floyd fans will never like Manny Pacquiao, or any other fighter for that matter. These Floyd fanboys even talk like him, and believe everything Floyd and his family says like it's the gospel truth, they insult other fighters like they are bums and always mention how Floyd is undefeated and the cash cow of boxing. They're bitter that Manny Pacquiao is destroying bigger guys and getting nothing but love from the mainstream media for his positive image, while their hero Floyd gets put on blast for assaulting women, throwing temper tantrums, flashing his money, and going on racist rants on UStream. These are some real haters, don't hate on Manny just because your boy is messing up. No one is out to get Floyd, he just needs to learn how to carry himself out in public instead of whining about being mistreated by the media.

5.) Nostalgic boxing fans that cannot let go of the past and don't like new school fighters being placed above their old school fighters. These boxing fans hate anything new school and can't move on from the past. To them the new school aren't as great as the old school fighters. They will say things like, Manny Pacquiao couldn't last with Henry Armstrong, Julio Cesar Chavez, Sugar Ray Leonard or Roberto Duran, but fighters like Chavez, Leonard and Duran all consider Pacquiao among the greatest of all time and would be a tough fight for any old school fighter in his division.

6.) The closet Racists or Xenophobes. It could be a black power person who believes that boxing can only be dominated by skilled black fighters and that an Asian (Filipino) fighter like Manny Pacquiao being placed alongside great fighters like Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson is an insult to blacks boxers. The Xenophobes, are the ones who dislike anything foreign or had a bad experience early in life that caused them to hate a certain group of people like an Asian person was rude to them or never smiled at them and these people couldn't let go of that and secretly hate anything Asian because of that bad experience, or those that lost a job to an Asian person and believe Asians are taking their jobs.

These types of Pacquiao haters will tell you they don't hate Manny Pacquiao, they say this so it doesn't make them look biased. They will also say they are fans of the sport of boxing and just don't like how the media hypes up Manny Pacquiao for fighting weak opposition, yet they never make videos or articles on the other cherry pickers in boxing.

You never see these people attacking other fighters consistently, they only attack Manny Pacquiao on a consistent basis and call to boycott his fights even they never order his fights anyway. They only had a problem with catchweights when Pacquiao decided to have one, they never had a problem with Mike Tyson fighting far weaker opposition than Pacquiao did or the recent catchweight bouts with other fighters, and what about Andre Berto being overpaid, why don't they make multiple videos blasting him? Why is it only Pacquiao's opponents come into question?

Don't be fooled by these people, they are not fair and they think by saying they don't hate Manny Pacquiao it doesn't make them look like a hater, yet they constantly write negative things about him and call to boycott his fights. Don't pretend that you don't hate Manny Pacquiao because you ain't fooling anyone.

My advice to the Pacquiao haters is don't hate on greatness, appreciate it while you can because fighters like Manny Pacquiao don't come around that often.

Instead, Mayweather declined and now, just as the media attention around Pacquiao ramps up again, it is clearly driving Mayweather crazy.

...

Just as Pacquiao was coming to Las Vegas -- where Mayweather lives -- for Saturday's stop, Mayweather took to his Twitter account, for which he has nearly 1 million followers. In the span of 6 minutes he tweeted YouTube links to Pacquiao's three career defeats.

Mayweather's undefeated record is precious to him -- many believe he has avoided Pacquiao because he wants to protect it at all costs -- and he probably can't stand that Pacquiao, with three defeats, reigns supreme over boxing in a way Mayweather can't come close to matching.

Pacquiao is a great fighter. He is beloved. He is humble. And he has the nation of the Philippines behind him.

Mayweather also is a great fighter. But he is not beloved. He is not humble. And he does not have a nation behind him.

Mayweather's tweets about Pacquiao show that he doesn't grasp reality. Those old losses from years ago are all Mayweather has to hold on to when it comes to claiming an edge over Pacquiao. What Mayweather doesn't get is that nobody but him cares that Pacquiao lost three fights years ago. They mean nothing when assessing Pacquiao's greatness because he has successfully taken the risks Mayweather can't bring himself to take.

Does anyone care that Sugar Ray Robinson, universally regarded as the greatest fighter ever, lost a bunch of fights? Does anyone care that Muhammad Ali lost a few fights?

...

Mayweather's tweeting of the links smacks of a desperate grab for attention. Why else do you think Mayweather did it the midst of the Pacquiao-Mosley media tour?

That is exactly Mayweather's style.

Remember last September when Pacquiao and Margarito were in the midst of the tour promoting their Nov. 13 fight? Right in the middle of it is when Mayweather recorded a profanity-filled, racist and homophobic rant against Pacquiao in a 10-minute video he posted on the Internet.

The timing was no accident. It was simply another case of a desperate Mayweather acting out to try to muscle in on Pacquiao's spotlight.

After the video came out, Pacquiao took the high road without returning fire on Mayweather.

And even though Mayweather poked fun at him with the video links to his defeats a few days ago, the humble Pacquiao continued to take the high road.

...

If Mayweather is happy winning 20 grand here and 40 grand there while also making himself look like a fool by bringing up Pacquiao's ancient losses instead of making maybe $50 million to fight him, so be it.

But you know what? Pacquiao, obviously, is always on his mind.
