If Floyd is on "vacation", who should Pacquiao fight next?

Marquez wanted double what he got from floyd plus an extra $5 per pay per view. So basically he wrote himself out of the fight.
I don't know what the details are, but I'm sure James Prince made some crazy deal for Shane Mosley, probably gets him like $3 million and that's it while Pacquiao will get $20+ million.
I was hoping for Berto this fight just doesn't have the appeal. The only thing worth of note will be to compare how pac does against mosley compared to how floyd did to mosley, but even then, styles make fights.
Also, it wouldn't be that bad of a fight if pacquiao was planning on fighting 3 times in 2011, but since this is may 7th it looks like pac will only fight twice.

Here's the thing...Nacho Beristain is a great trainer/coach, but he's one of the worst managers in the business, easily.
Back when Manny and Marquez first fought to a draw, Top Rank offered Marquez $750,000 for an almost immediate rematch, and guess what? Nacho rejected the offer, then they went to Indonesia to face Chris John for $30,000 and LOST. :dead:
Now, like mentioned, Marquez demands 6 million for a 3rd fight with Pacquiao, and looking at his recent track record of low gate revenue and attendance, this guy is simply not in any position to be demanding anything.
I personally don't like the Mosley fight. I don't see very much upside in a victory for Pacquiao, and let's face reality: Mosley has looked like shit in 3 out of his last 5 fights.
I do understand that Mosley, just wanting big paydays, is pretty much willing to take whatever Top Rank offers, and I do understand that this will probably be an entertaining fight while it lasts...but still, I don't think a victory over a faded Mosley does much for Pac's legacy.

I told you guys a month ago that Manny was going to fight Mosley next. When I called it -I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about, and that I was a dumb ass. When are you guys going to wake up and see that Manny only fights shot and damaged named fighters. It makes me laugh when I hear his fans claiming that he only fights the best out there. No Manny only fights the loser of the big fight. Yes, he fought Cotto and Margarito but only after they both got brutally beat up before meeting him. Now he's fighting Mosley only after Mayweather beat the brakes off him 1st. But whatever I don't know what I'm talking about anyway right?? Based on how easily Manny was getting hit by Margarito, even a old shot Mosley is going to give Manny a hard fight. Your punching power is the last thing to go, and Manny's defense sucks, so I see a good fight.
^ Seriously. Besides bigface...of the top 6 welterweights in the world (according to Ring magazine) 2 of them Pacquiao has already demolished. One is Floyd Mayweather, who is too busy beating women and poking flashlight cops in the face. The other is Berto, who has fought nobodies, and has 0 name recognition (his own promoter Lou Dibella admitted this), and finally, we have Mosley.
Even though I don't like the fight, you have to agree that there just wasn't a whole lot out there besides maybe the winner of Bradley-Alexander, with neither one of those guys having either a big name, or a good enough resume at this point to challenge Pacquiao and be recieved as a legitimate opponent.

Manny is at a point in his career that it doesn't matter who he fights, and the fight will still sell. Berto or Marquez would be a easy sell for PPV. 2-0-Sixx- right after the Margarito fight the same night I said that Manny was going to fight Mosley next, way before Top Rank released that bullshit list. I don't need to feel smart anyone with half a brain should be able to see the pattern of how Top Rank have been choosing who Manny fights next. All the Manny fans called me a dumb ass for stated the facts. But it's all good you guys was to busy hyping up that lame ass Margarito.. Mayweather has to fight everyone no matter the money or he will be accused of ducking the fighter, but now Manny doesn't have to fight people that doesn't make him the most money. My point the whole time is that it's a double standard going on between Mayweather and Manny. Because why are you guys not calling out Manny for doing the same thing you guys claim Mayweather has been doing which is dodging challenges? That's my problem with the Pac-man fans all the damn double standards.. Bash Mayweather but make 85 excuses justifying Manny doing the same thing you bash Mayweather for.
