If Floyd is on "vacation", who should Pacquiao fight next?

I'm not bob arum but I'm pretty sure even that would be out the window. Marquez got like 25% against Floyd if I'm not mistaken, probably a lot less (I'm too lazy to look up the figures but I know floyd make many times that of JMM).

So if Manny fights Shane and beats him what will the excuse be? Shane was too old? Shane was coming off a loss to Floyd? Manny is on PED's? Shane was abducted by an alien the night before? Shane didn't get to pop enough thizz pills? Shane didn't get a Wii for xmas? Manny sold his soul to Satan so the devil gave him extra strength? Shane didn't pray to Jesus before the fight? Shane thought he was fighting "PACMAN" and forgot his power pellets?
Heresy, Did you watch Mosley get a 12 round beating by Mayweather? My question to you is what will be the excuses made if Mosley gives Manny and good fight or even beats him? After Mosley failed to take advantage of Floyd being hurt it was all Floyd. He didn't pound Mosley to a bloody pulp but he made sure he ate leather for the rest of those rounds.

LOL. So after Mayweather beat Mosley up and he looked like shit in his last fight, now Mosley is all of sudden in his prime again because he's fighting Manny? You Manny fans are funny. in mosley's defense regarding his last fight it's hard to look good against a bigger awkward guy who was completely unwilling to engage in a fight.
As for Mayweather, Floyd is simply the superior boxer to Mosley. Mosley was twitching away confused as hell as to what to do. I disagree with HERSEY on that point I don't think Mosley ran out of gas after the second I thought Floyd did a tremendous job making the proper adjustments, keeping the perfect amount of distance, got shanes timing down and countered him for the rest of the fight, thus making shane second guess himself the entire night (which resulting in shane twitching away for 10 rounds as floyd fiented, etc.).
There is a little risk on pac's part I suppose just based on styles, I mean mosley did nearly drop floyd and pac is an offensive fighter so shane will most definitely have his chances and probably more chances than he did against a defensive wizard like mayweather.
I still prefer marquez or berto of course, but I don't think it's terrible fight for pac's first fight of 2011, would be a PERFECT set up for a Mayweather fight especially if Pac could knock shane out. And if floyd is still not available, maybe andre berto can get a big win under his belt and Pac vs Berto at the end of the year.

Who is this directed at? If it is directed at me I never said Mosley was in his prime. In fact, he wasn't in his prime when Floyd beat him. Furthermore, I think Mosely should consider retirement. And why would anyone give props to Manny for beating Mosley when they have yet to fight?

Floyd did adjust. I give him that and Mosley even said the same thing. However, part of the reason he was able to adjust and remain comfortable is because Mosley gassed out (which he even says I think in the interview right after the fight or some other post fight interview I saw.)

I think Mosley has the style to give problems to Manny. But I think he's gun shy now after the Mayweather fight and the Mora showing. Can he get his mental game back in order for this fight. Because Floyd hurt him a few times in that fight, something that Margarito, Cotto, or a prime DLH couldn't do. Mayweather was able to back Mosley up and hurt him enough to make him stop punching. Just like 206 and T-Rip said Mosley is not getting knocked out. If Margarito didn't get knocked out Mosley will not. We will see what happens.
