i hear you. thats true.
but i sort of felt why ice t was asked that. and i sort of felt why he said what he said. it was a smart move on ice's behalf.
technically, the people who arent involved in that criminal element were corrected by ice-t at that moment..
but if those laws include you, you know..not talking, i dont think ice-t was speaking to those people.
what i got from what ice-t says is that camron didnt need to explain the streets to 60 minutes. it gives an awkward stance on hip hop to be stereotyped and it makes some of us look uncooperable with police, which in turn can add to racial profiling.
when he said camron messed up, he definately did. as a hip hop artist who is able to be on such things like 60 minutes, his words reach more than a hip hop fanbase, its everyone who watches tv..
and unfortunately that goes to a class of people who are not involved with keeping your mouth closed for a reason.
i think even if ice t wasnt as rich as he is, and he was still involved in the criminal element, he would have said the same thing.
that said though, if you follow ice-t's career he used to be alot more outspoken and hes gained some sort of wise and elder mentality to his feelings.
if he was our age, he might say the same thing some of us dont agree with in here.
