Disagree all you want, but you're arguing facts. And you got whooped, and you whip your kids now. I would say the pretty much proves my point.

I was never "beat" i was whooped and only got it when i did something that deserves a whoop'n'!!!
Yeah i did some things in my time but that's charged to the game,

Yeah i whoop my kids when they do something i feel that deserves a whoop'n' (which is not often)!!! Today my kids are happy as can be and it's rare they make the same mistake twice!!!

Because if i was in that study, they would've been trumped in their traccs!!!
I'm sure they did do study on folks that had it like me, and ended up pretty good like me, but since the majority of the study leans the other way, they don't count!!! So how is that accurate???

I have 2 sons and they respond to different types of punishment. I can barely, barely spank my youngest and he'll cry because it hurts his feelings more than anything but he's actually tougher than my oldest. Neither one of them want a spanking and will try and show out and get smart with me til they see me move like I'm gonna head their way or get off the couch and they immediately straighten up.
BUT, the biggest thing is, they behave much better if they've had the proper amount of attention throughout the day, basically every day. Kids act up because they are begging for attention. Kids need quality time. I've met countless messed up people with "daddy issues" and it all boils down to missing the time they should've had. Girls grow up having sex with a bunch of dudes looking for "love" and are willing to give their bodies in exchange for companionship. Dudes do it too but it's usually glamourized as a dude being a pimp or something

I've spanked my kids before and was spanked as a child and after ist all said and done I'm more on the side to not spank ur kids...I got four children three boys one girl she's about one and a half and I found that rewarding ur kids good behavior with somthing they like or just praising them makes them want to have good behavior...and also having them earn videos games tv and things of that nature instead of just giving it to them is a good incentive for good behavior...I mean kids will always act up but try to raise them in a secure positive enviorment and u will see great results...and if ur kid is being disrespectful and actin a fool its probably a learned behavior and u should look at urself in the mirror and ask what kind of roll model u have been...kids are a product of their enviorment

wth all that said thow I think ppl should mind their business and let ppl raise their kids the way they see fit...as long as thier not beating their kids on a daily basis its no ones business...i know this video looked bad and i think the dad lost it at some point but a cord aint gonna do nothing more than give u some welts and the injuries well all be all superficial

From what ive seen from parents is there either going the smart way of doing things and learning everything they can on children, or take the easy route and give beatings because its usually all they know.

I'll say right now, parents don't TALK to their kids enough. If you're trying to talk to your daughter about not having sex as she's headed to south beach, you're too late. If you're letting your children get an education about gangs, drugs, sex etc... from somewhere other than the home, you're failing as a parent.
