Another way I have seen on some models is to tap F8, and go to a list of Startup options, and start a Factory Standards Recovery from in there, by selecting the Repair computer option.

Me being the iphone n00b that I am...I was plug into PC via usb cable and syncing my favorites/bookmarks...
So still plugged in Im deleting the bookmarks on my iphone that I didnt want...It wasnt until later I realized I had deleted them from my PC at the same time
No way to retrieve huh?

Thanks, but I didnt see any mention of iphone..but appreciate it anyways.
I called Apple support today..they said there really wasnt a way to retrieve the lost bookmarks...I had a good majority of them backed up on linkagogo.com, but I just didnt have like the newest ones..oh well, live and learn, I'll come across 'em again and re-add 'em in my favorites

If your just after bookmarks of sites you visited does AT&T still do the dissertation of a phone bill. When the I-Phone first dropped they put like every site you visited on the bill. You might be able to pull some of the old sites off the bill if they still do that.

ok. I get this bluescreen. that says a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent .. i guess damage to my pc.
SO I TURN OFF MY PC. THEN A BLACK SCREEN COMES UP. SAYIN SOMETHING ABOUT HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE MIGHT HAVE BEEN CHANGE.
I HAVE NO CLUE..
AND IT GIVES ME THESE OPTIONS..

im using my brothers . hopefully i could hop on later get some suggestions on what i should do.
i know i downloaded a sound driver.. 2 different kinds.. cause i had no volume at all on my laptop. that might be the problem what caused it.....
