tried to unregister that .dll file. Got this instead:

'regsrv32' is not recognized as an internal or external command. operable program or batch file.
Most likely your path is possibly broken.

Try this

Start menu -> run -> cmd

now set your path. it should include the system32 directory
PATH=%PATH%;%SystemDirectory%;C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32;

Then Run

regsrv32 /u C:\windows\system32\iifdedap.dll

or

regsrv32 /u iifdedap.dll

I would suggest checking out http://forums.windrivers.com/showthread.php?t=80306

sounds like you might be infected with malware that does a fake scan. download malware bytes and update it from your girls profile then boot to safe mode and run it also from your girls profile.

I'm running Windows 7 and have Nero 6.6 installled because all the newer versions are loaded with a bunch of stuff I don't need. Every time I try to burn it says SCSI command aborted and fails. Is there a easy way to fix this?

^ when u get the blue screen, we need u to write down the error msg + error ID number.
Once u do that we can then see what is conflicting and why.
Here are the two pages i get re directed too. When it says windows encountered a serious error there is no number. Thanks guys

You prob need to install the sound driver. Go to the website of your laptop and drivers page and download audio driver for it
