from the sounds of it you played on casual. well judging by what you said about the other games in the trilogy i assume you're not a casual player to this so you shouldnt manned up and went hardcore. and now that it's beat try it on insane cause that shit truley is insane now. there was a HUGE OH SHIT moment but who really cares about the story. it's a game so i bought it to play it not to watch some clips. but hey do what you want with it.

No. You didn't see where I said I even double checked to see if I was on hardcore mode? I checked in the options menu and I checked in my achievements because it tracks the in game progress when you do it inside the game. I played on hardcore. The shit was too damn easy. I've never played a game on it's hardest difficulty and had it this easy.

Story is 50% of the game. The other 50% is gameplay.

great game beat it on hardcore next up a little on-line gaming then back to insane still have some items to find will clean that up the second time thru

The campaign on hardcore was so nerfed out easy that I decided to play pt. 1 on hardcore. Act 1 is kicking my ass trying to throw the grenades into the locusts holes, while the dumbass ai keeps getting downed. Hardcore on pt. 1 aint no getting downed, you're straight up dead when you get shot lol
