You know the only difference between ranked matches is that it has to wait for people to start right?

Nothing about it counts more than quick matches.

Public:

You can join in after the match has already started
you can quit without any penalty (I believe)
maps are chosen randomly
don't ever have to leave the game


Ranked:

You will always start a brand new match
you can pick your loadout/character at the beginning of each match
you can vote on which map you like
quitting will cause you to lose a decent sum of XP
at the end of each match you are booted back out to the main menu and have to search for a new match

True. But some games wont give you a cheevie unless you are playing the ranked section(i.e. Dead Rising 2)

This game is too easy. I keep checking to make sure I'm on hardcore and I am but it's too easy. Maybe it's because I laready know how to play gears and not too much has changed?

Goddamnit i cant get passed level 20 on horde somebody always seems to quit and damn thing pushes us back to level 9

I noticed on normal if you don't hurry up and kill the locusts your squad just mops em all up for before you even step out the cut like WTF?

Thats really my only complaint about the campaign so far! You roll wit to many muthafuckas it seems like everybody always gettin in your way and stealin your kill n shit...

Thats what I'm sayin'. This is the only thing I dont dig about Gears 3.
It is what it is, though. I just stick with the Retro Lancer and The Gnasher.

Despite all the shit everybody talks about it i think its balanced! It gets annoying sometimes but i after using it for a while i actually think the gnasher is a much better choice!

Kinda nice to finally mix up the weapons.. I fuck with everything except the Hammerburst, i can't get a kill with that thing for shit!
