Another game decided by the refs, fucking gay.

On the bright side Orton may have found his favorite target with Lloyd. Seems like a good match since Orton under throws everything and Lloyd can't catch it unless he's jumping or diving
they didn't show the game up here so I didn't get to watch. Can you give me a quick break down of WTF happened? I kept checking the score....looks like Orton had a bad first half, then in the 2nd I see da bears up like 24-14, I thought they had it, next thing I know it's in OT. Greise threw 67 passes? wtf? How'd the defense look? Not that great I assume. Did Hester play?

Very disappointing. a couple feild goals away from being 3-0. :(

Hester didn't play. Manning returned kickoffs and Vasher was doing punts. The run D was sick, 47 yards and most of that came at the end of the game. The pass D wasn't bad either but when a guy throws 67 times and they're going in and out of doing a hurry up offense it really wears the D down, guys had their hands on their hips most of the 4th quarter and OT. Forte looked as good as he has all year, and I think Orton first hit Lloyd in the 2nd quarter and from then on they were connecting on everything. Most of it was underthrown and I was telling my friends who aren't as familiar with Lloyd that it's a good combo for the both of them since Lloyd's somehow better making jumping/tougher catches than he is on routine stuff. Both teams were fighting after plays most of the game, it seemed like TB was starting most of it and I didn't hear about any shit talking leading up to the game so I don't know what was going on. But on TB's last drive, I don't remember exactly how much time was left but I believe it was between 2 and 3 minutes, was when we got fucked over. On 3rd and long Griese threw a horrible pass from around their own 5, incomplete so everyone's going crazy that the Bears stopped them. Then there's a big pile up at the line of scrimmage and no one knows what's going on, the refs talk and Urlacher's next to them pointing to TB so everyone started cheering figuring it was against them, then they called unnecessary roughness on Peanut for 15 yards, automatic 1st. On the replay after the pass Tommy Harris was on the ground and a lineman fell on top of him and started hitting him in the head, one of the other D lineman tried pulling the guy off and the guy grabbed Tommy and kept hitting him, then Peanut ran over and when they finally got the guy off Tommy he started pushing him and they called the penalty on that, it was retarded. Then they drove down the field and scored to send it to OT, and on the TD for some reason Hunter was lined up on the outside on Stevens who just ran a quick slant and caught it easily. I think the thing that killed them was having no sacks, any time they would get pressure Griese would throw a quick pass so I guess Gruden just had a good game plan.

Huge win for da bears. Defense finally stepped it up at the end when it mattered most. That stop at fourth-and-goal from the 1 yard line was HUGE!!!

BIAAAAATTTTCH!!!!

Orton career high 3 TD's! the bad thing though was how many times he got sacked, some of that was the o-line obviously but a lot of it was Orton holding onto the ball way too long. He needs to get rid of it sooner.

Regardless, Chicago is now tied for 1st place with Green Bay.

Well if they stay healthy I think they can make the playoffs and hopefully win the division. Their schedule from here on out isn't too bad:
at Lions
at Falcons
Vikings
Lions
Titans
at Packers
at Rams
at Vikings
Jaguars
Saints
Packers
at Texans

^^^basically I think they can lose four of those games and be set at 10-6, which would get them in the playoffs. Hopefully of course, you never what can happen!

im excited, they could easily go 10-6 this year. and with the division not that great is a huge bonus. and beating the Colts and the Eagles means we can run with any of the teams in the league.

Forte is a savage!!

Uuughhhh so Chicago is in first place with the win over Detroit. Kyle Orton 24 completions, 334 yards and a 121.4 passer rating while tossing two touchdowns and no interceptions on 34 attempts.

Oh and here is a shocker, Chicago Bears currently the #6 ranked scoring OFFENSE in the NFL. Who would have thought??

Tough game next - Falcons in Atlanta. Michael Turner has been a beast and really their entire offense, so big test for Chicago's D.
