And Maddogg, you and your homeys may buy our shit, but you also have to look at the possibility of 100 people for every person in your click burnin our shit. You know?

And I think you got me fucked up a little bit. I'm not 'talkin shit about how piracy is killin the business'. I read and do research before I open my mouth about subjects like this one. Talkin shit? Hardly. Piracy IS killin the business. But don't cry for me Argentina - I definately am not whinin about it, I'm just stating facts. Don't assume I'm over here shedding tears as I type this.

@ Mr. Peete. I guess it might be different when you think on a more regional or national level cause Runs in the Fam shoulda sold a lot more its a good thing they are rereleasing it. But in general you guys get a lot of love in the Sco, I guess thats what i was tryin to stay. Thats accurate right?

@ Frisco Legend. About 6 of those albums never even came out. You must have the phatest hookup on unreleased shit in the yay. But its all good dogg, I dont want to argue so thats a dope hookup, keep spending $500 a month on cds and hustlin, cant hate u for that...

I read an articel about the CD-copying and the recordsales and in it it said that:

The downloading of music hasn't hurt recordsales as mutch as RIAA (or whatever the antipiracy company is called) wants it to look, the total amount of CDs sold during 2002 was higher then any other year, but on the other hand are there so many Cds released that the eatch CD do not sell as many copys as they used to.

Can't really burn cd's, need that booklet and shit inside, need to know who feature and who produce tracks on the stuff I bought, tha burning cd shit isn"t my thang but if you need right now without make your pocket empty a cd like dre d, SIC, first powdah and some classic old school yey shit ( not tha weak ass after Y2K music garbage releases), it's all good to copy that cd cause first you'll get the sound you'll never got if you try to find the OG release (especially overseas) and then artists ain't loosin money cause it's all between us for the sale, ain't no store between the trade. After, you got to watch what you buy, some stupid folks just read magazines and shit and start buying all the releases, that's some dumb ass tactic, with the net, you can almost listen everything so if some people spend 15 dollars on Last SICX (that the weakest shit I've never heard for a while) and after they blame they spend 15 dollars for nothing, it's all on them. Moreover, I think everybody got to respect artist ethic, those rappers pay the studio and shit and need to live, expozure is great, I'm with that but it doesn't make a man living.

You know this is a dead ass topic that has some brought up multiple times already...

The reality is...you can't stop it..so why complain about it?

The consumers tell you why they burn cds...so take what they say and improve on it...if artists are gonna keep doing the same thing then shit is gonna be the same...

This ain't directed at all artists though...this is just the lazy ass recycling track artists..you know who you are...so I won't name anybody..fortunately we still got hungry artists out there putting out some good shit...and those kind of ppl will still get our support.....

jus my 2 cents
