I buy my fair share of CDs. I probly listen to about 3 hrs. of music a day. When I start work, its more like 5-6 because all I do is drive. But heres the deal: if your camp is putting out a weak cd, then your not getting my $15 its that simple. Too many artists now-a-days are blaming this bootleg shit instead of looking at the real picture which is their music sucks!

I think its comical to see a lot of artists on the board concerned with internet piracy because no one even knows who the fuck they are let alone are they gonna buy a 16.99 LP of them. All this "Piracy" shit does is help put them on the map, the same way bootlegging in NY put 50 on the map. You don't really hear a whole lot about 50 or Eminem (although he has said a little) or Dr. Dre complaining about bootlegging because it really doesnt hurt their sales at all Dre still did 4xplatinum, 50 4xplatinum and Eminem who knows how many times platinum. You do see artists like Busta Rhymes and Nelly doin commercials about "stop the bootlegging" and the reason why is their music sucks.

well 500 (the amount you spend on CDs per month) divded by 12 (the amount you say a cd costs) equals 41 cds per month. So if you are tellin me you are pickin up all quality cds let me know which ones...

to be more fair, If I jack the price up to $16, you are still buying 31 cds a month...and if all those are tight...you are a fuckin savage for being able to cash in on that much good music a month...
