It wouldnt hurt to look at revolvers, if for whatever reason a shot doesnt fire you can cycle on to the next...And I would NEVER keep a blank in a gun im keeping for protection, if you own a gun you need to live by the principle if your pointing your gun at something you are prepared to kill it, not scare it with a blank so it can shoot you in the face.

Yes. BUT, they are as close to impossible as you can get, especially if you live in any populated area. Unless youre the sheriffs son, youre probably not getting one. Way up north they are a little more lenient because the police are so far away, and the response time is so long.
