We strengthened the threat. That's why they are still hunting Saddam; because if we don't kill him, then he is going to seek revenge, there is no doubt in my mind. We crossed the line by killing his family, now we are going to have to take what's coming to us. I agree with taking action on this country, but they went about the wrong way.
what you fail to realize is that if someone wants to pull another 9/11 on us they will. BOTTOM LINE. YOU CAN'T STOP IT. you can take over IRAQ, but you won't take over the extremists spirits. iraq is conquered, minus sadam is still living, right? yet US soldiers are still getting killed daily.
so you are saying we should take over the rest of the world and force our views on everyone else, and we should be the ONLY ones wit enough weapons to fuck up everybody else? that's the only way you can prevent something like that happening.
that's why we're in this position, cuz nosy ass neighbors like you want to control everything.
PLUS, 9/11 was done by a group not a country and that group is still active. so the US hasn't really accomplished anything. say sadam does get murdered, you think his people will like us after that, or will they want to seek revenge even more?
Furthermore, the US is responsible for gettin Sadam started wit this biological technology. And on top of that who do you think put Sadam in power??? And when/if sadam does get peeled, who do you think is gonna put someone NEW in power???
your whole thought is irrelevant. anyone can attack us and taking over more countries is only gonna make the possiblity of another attack greater. and by using a "chemical/biological" threat as justification only proves you watch too much tv and don't think logically enough about the bigger picture. you've been brainwashed.

2nd question--- no we shouldnt be the only ones with WMD's but i do think that the others that do have them should be responsible countryies, i mean i have no problem with great brittian, france, russia, and/or israel because they are responsible countries whose sole purpose of having these weapons is the same as our PROTECTION. we cannot allow a rogue state especially one thats wants to see us destroyed proliferate these weapons at will just because we have them.

no, but we should respect them. we have no right to go in there and take over. we've already punished them by all the sanctions that have been put on them. plus all the oil they supply the world with i think they deserve a little more than that.

you're right. some gov. agency like the CIA. there is no way 4 planes could've been hijacked and crashed within hours in this day and age especially wit technology that has been around since the 70's where commercial planes can be controlled from the ground and override cockpit controls. i totally agree wit you here.

Like I said before, he had an air force with fighter jets that he did not use but instead buried under dirt hoping we wouldn't find them. We did find them a couple months after the invasion. So why didn't he use his jets? Because he buried them and did not use them does not mean he did not have them. The chemical weapons are probably buried somewhere.
