I don't know about the stat's but walking around downtown in Edmonton, it's the natives I see standing out in front of the homeless shelters.. Although Canada does have a significantly lower population of blacks then the US does. Anyways, bickering about who has it worse between blacks/natives seems ridiculous to me.. both had their culture and rights stripped away in the past which has caused a lot of problems in the future.

The answer to your question was answered with my own question. The measure of how a race is doing isn't whether or not the next President elected will be of their race. It's about working smart (getting a college degree), instead of working hard (manual labor).

DS - IMO this debate is irrelavent. Reason being Natives & Blacks have had been oppressed. Why argue over who has had it worse off. I think that is the white blood in you that is making this an issue, because you are misguided & helpless because you truly have never felt oppressed so you are seeking some sort of attention whether it good or bad. Being "intelligent" may be one thang having "common sense" is another. None the less back to the topic of who had it worse off.......Blacks/African-Americans were stolen from there land;Native Americans had land stolen from them. Indians/Native Americans are in their homeland; Blacks/African-Americans can make the choice of going back to their home land, I said have the choice to do so, Native Americans don't have the choice of sending off illegal immigrants.
