if people are honest with themselves, then they choose who they truly feel is the best one. it asked who they thought had the better lyrics. i wouldn't tell jay tee that he was better than eminem on his forum. i wrote what i felt and i would expect everyone else did the same

man if you guyz are talking about wordplay....Woodie cant even be in tha same room az Eminem. if you're talking about wut they're talkin bout in their rapz, Woodie destroyz Eminem. i dont know about you but im talkin bout tha ability to RHYME. not wut tha song iz about. and you can say wutever tha fuck you want about Eminem but tha fact iz he will tear you a new asshole in thiz rap game and he haz more money than you'l ever see in your lyfe. hate on him all you want and call him a fake thug, but he never claimz to be one and tha muzik he makez iz not intended for "hardcore" folkz such az yourselvez....itz for tha kidz who'll shell out their allowancez to buy hiz album. and thatz MILLIONZ of kidz.

bottom lyne, Eminem Vs. Woodie in a battle....Eminem WINZ.
(no offense Woodie)
I CAN AGREE WITH THAT. BUT HE WASNT ASKIN WHO CAN RHYME BETTER......HES ASKIN WHO HAS BETTER LYRICS. YEAH EMINEM CAN FREESTYLE OR RHYME GOOD....BUT I CAN RELATE MORE TO THE CONTENT OF WOODIE'S SONGS

"Entertainment is changin', intertwinin' with gangstas, in the land of the killers, a sinner's mind is a sanctum/ unholy, only have one homie, only this gun, lonely cuz don't anyone know me/Yet everybody just feels like they can relate, I guess words are a mothafucka they can be great/ or they can degrate, or even worse they can teach hate/It's like these kids hang on every single statement we make, like they worship us/plus all the stores ship us platinum, now how the fuck did this metamorphosis happen?/ From standin' on corners and porches just rappin'; to havin' a fortune, no more kissin' ass/But then these critics crucify you, journalists try to burn you, fans turn on you, attorneys all want a turn at you/To get they hands on every dime you have, they want you to lose your mind every time you mad/So they can try to make you out to look like a loose cannon. Any dispute won't hesitate to produce handguns/That's why these prosecutors wanna convict me, strictly just to get me off of these streets quickly/But all they kids be listenin' to me religiously, so I'm signin' CDs while police fingerprint me/They're for the judge's daughter but his grudge is against me. If I'm such a fuckin' menace, this shit doesn't make sense B/It's all political, if my music is literal, and I'm a criminal how the fuck can I raise a little girl?/I couldn't. I wouldn't be fit to. You're full of shit too, Guerrera, that was a fist that hit you!

They say music can alter moods and talk to you, well can it load a gun up for you , and cock it too?/Well if it can, then the next time you assault a dude, just tell the judge it was my fault and I'll get sued/See what these kids do is hear about us totin' pistols and they want to get one cuz they think the shit's cool/not knowin' we really just protectin' ourselves, we entertainers, of course the shit's affectin' our sales, you ignoramus/But music is reflection of self, we just explain it, and then we get our checks in the mail. It's fucked up ain't it?/ How we can come from practically nothing to being able to have any fuckin' thing that we wanted/That's why we sing for these kids, who don't have a thing except for a dream, and a fuckin' rap magazine/who post pin-up pictures on they walls all day long, idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs/Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in their lives, till they sit and they cry at night wishin' they'd die/Till they throw on a rap record and they sit, and they vibe. We're nothin' to you but we're the fuckin' shit in they eyes/that's why we seize the moment try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it, cuz we consider these minutes golden/and maybe they'll admit it when we're gone. Just let our spirits live on, through our lyrics that you hear in our songs and we can......"

Just some bullshit lyrics huh?

WHAT THAT HOMEY SAID THAT I COMPARED THEM BOTH CAUSE THERE BOTH WHITE THAT AINT TRUE.I WAS JUST TRYING TO COMPARE 2 TIGHT ASS RAPPERS.WHO MAY BE FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE U.S. BUT THEY STILL BOOTH RAP WITH THAT INTENSITY THAT WANTS TO MAKE HEAR THEIR MUSIC OVER AND OVER.BUT YEAH WOOODIE RAPS ABOUT NORTENO LIFE STYLE AND EMINEM RAPS ABOUT HIS LIFE AND THE MUSIC INDUSTRY OR WHATEVER AND ARE 2 DIFFERENT KINDA RAPPERS I JUST THOUGHT EVERYONE ON HERE WERE REALLY DOWN 4 WOODIE BUT I GUESS NOT CAUSE ALL I ASKED WAS NOT WHO SOLD THE MOST ALBUMS OR WHO WAS MORE POPULAR. JUST WHO HAD THE BEST LYRICS THAT YOU COULD REALLY RELATE TO. THATS IT AND WOODIE I IN NO WAY WANTED TO OFFEND U COMPARING U TO EMINEM IT WAS JUST A SUBJECT THAT POPPED IN MY HEAD AND I JUST FEEL U ARE AT ALOT OF RAPPERS LEVEL.

BEING A REAL GANGSTER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RHYMING ABILITY, EMINEM MAY BE PHAKE, BUT HE SPITS HARDER THAN 99% OPH CATS IN THE GAME, WOODIE IS A TALENTED MAN, BUT AS PHAR AS "RHYME SAYING", IMA GO WITH EMINEM...

I dont understand why everyone is sayin Eminem is a wannabe gangster. I have never heard him rap about bangin, reppin a set or anything. So how do you consider him a wannabe. Also, how is he a sellout? Because he has talent and made it big. Jus sounds like a bunch of hatin too me.

Honestly, i think Woodie is a better rapper... Eminem got some coo songs, but i ain't feelin the majority of it..Mostly its the same shit he talks about... sometimes theres not much variety in his rhymes... Woodie hits up on lots of things, and he can def. flow too... just my opinion on things tho..

eminem is a sellout cause of how he got there. he has even said, every single he has released to drop an album has been really cheesy to him, but he knows that's what sells. like i said, if he would have dropped that song the way i am first off the marshall mathers lp, i would have swooped that album, but he released that pop bullshit real slim shady song, and that's a sellout move right there

No, that's a smart move right there. 1 radio friendly song on the album and he sells 10 million. Yeah, I guess you're right that wasn't very smart of him huh?

if that's the way you want to go out, to me, the material stuff ain't shit. i could give a fuck if i had a huge mansion and all that, cause you can't take that stuff with you to the other side. if i never pulled a move like that and only sold 500 copies in my neighborhood, at least i still had my integrity, and i would expect the real ones to agree with me

Yes but he and a lot of other artists are trying to make a living off of their music. So if it doesn't sell, then they don't eat. Would you rather live broke as fucc struggling just to eat and pay your bills or have millions in the bank and never have to worry about that shit?

yea, chrisdogg, i feel u, i think that pop bullshit is stupid and, sadly, it is what sells. frnkly, i could give a fuck whether a CD has sold millions or not, if i feel it, ill cop it, but i look for variety u noe... ill give props to eminem in the beginning, but once that shit got wide, fuck it, now its all about fuck britney and fuck his mom... if ima her rap, i dont wanna hear about no britney speaks and cookie-cutter boybands... it sounds funny, but shit, feel me on this one... me and my boy even got a rap song called fuck boybands -- but thats besides the point...
i think a lot of rap nowadays is too commercial, but shit, if ima rap, id rather do it for a loyal bunch of supporters than preteens and children who dont noe what the fuck hes talkin about half he time... (thats not to say that only that age group listens to him)
i guess in this case its kinda hard whether to say fuck the money or fuck the fame... but heres how i see it... the kats who strugglin and out there rappin, it can be about the money and at the same time they have their supporters... but for a kat like eminem who already has his millions, hes now financially well off to keep it real in his raps and use the talent that we noe he has, wisely..

like i said, i am well aware of the risks and shit of the game. that's why i haven't made the huge effort to put somethin out. he could have kept the money from his first album and never worked a day in his life again, but he came out with 2 more albums with the exclusion of d12 and he did the same thing and put out some bullshit twice for his first single. if that were the option i had, i would invest the money i had made and let america forget about me.
