in the very beginning of the game i didnt realize that i followed the imperial dude, until i already ran into the door. then after the guy started explaining sorry, i was just following orders to kill you, hear me out and join the imperials dude, i was like wtf fuck that, i shouldve went the other way with the other prisoner lol. but i was too lazy to restart and have to go through all that character creation and loading screen and shit. it took me like 10 minutes to make my character cause i actually shaped his body and face to be all hulk like and super dark skinned and shit, lol.
this game seems kind of linear though, i think its kind of dumbed down in a lot of ways cause its a pretty mainstream game. for instance i havent seen one single "your faction has increased" or faction has decreased with Whoever message during like 40 hours of game play so far. so im pretty sure my options are still wide open. i think ill hold off on picking a side till i learn some more stuff about it all; game lore wise
my character is following like a "man's man" role i guess, like i found some dude named "an Old Orc" or something in the middle of nowhere standing by some mountains, and he talked about how all he wants is an honorable death, so i challenged him and killed his ass cause it was the honorable thing to do. (i think this might have been easter egg paying homage to Morrowind, cause im pretty sure i killed him and took his bad ass sword in that game lol) also small things like some thieves guild chick was bullying a stable boy so i intimidated her to back off; ill help out the towns folk and shit.
yea this is nerd talk so what, lol. and yea i know im like half a year late on all this skyrim talk but whatever, this game kicks ass. if another game like this comes out im buying that shit day one so i can nerd talk it up with everybody when its still a relevant topic
