What do you guys think the best enchantment is for a two-handed weapon? The Banish enchantment or whatever? Just got my smithing and enchanting up to 100.
I don't find the Banish enchantment useful for myself. I prefer any enchantment that causes extra damage like absorb HP or elemental damage. I also keep a weapon with soul trap on it in case I need to recharge something.

MERP

http://www.moddb.com/mods/merp-middle-earth-roleplaying-project

Currently, we have a complete heightmap of Middle-earth (over 9 times the size of Skyrim!). The first stage in developing MERP is landscaping, and creating settlements on our heightmap. The next stage is designing interiors, then creating NPCs, quests, and so forth.
Should be a hell of a expansion/spin off of sorts, not really into the whole LOTR series but it will fit well.

I'm have to get back in this game. There's still half the map I haven't explored lol
Shit, I put in like 80 hours and still only explored a small bit of the map.

I became pretty familiar with Riverwood and Whiterun, but then I felt kind of overwhelmed with exploring the other large locations lol.

From Baltimore Sun:

A look at 'Skyrim's' first downloadable expansion, 'Dawnguard'
What do we know and what can we guess about this summer's add-on pack?

The Bethesda Blog released this "Dawnguard" teaser… (Bethesda )
May 02, 2012|By Dave Gilmore
Six months after the game's initial release, the whispers of the first expansion pack for Bethesda Softworks' "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" have finally been confirmed.

The pack is titled "Dawnguard." The name is, as far as we know, unique within the Elder Scrolls universe, and isn’t referenced in any in-game literature (according to the very useful Elder Scrolls Wiki). If you consider the "Dawn" part of the name, the location immediately seems to point to the northern Skyrim city of Dawnstar, which is near the edge of the current playable map. Of course, "Dawn" could point to time, not location. We could be in for something at the dawn of one of the universe’s four eras, or the dawn of a particular group or conflict.

Looks like I will have to create a new character

DOWNLOADING THE BETA UPDATE ON STEAM
If you’d like to download the 1.6 Beta Update on Steam, you’ll need to follow these steps:

Log into Steam
Click on Steam in the upper menu
Select Settings
Under the Account tab, go to the Beta Participation section and select Change.
A drop down menu will appear. Select Skyrim Beta.
Select OK.
Steam will now restart. After Steam restarts, Skyrim will be updated to the Beta version currently available.

If you opt into the Beta, be sure to back up your saved games or simply be careful not to overwrite your existing saves. If you decide to opt out of the beta program, your old saves will still work with the current release of Skyrim on Steam (v 1.5).

If you decide you don’t want to run the Beta anymore, redo steps 1 – 4. At the drop down, select NONE – Opt out of all beta programs. Let Steam restart, and Skyrim will automatically update itself back to the latest released version.

a good enchantment for melee weapons is absorb health, for every hit you land you absorb 20-30 hp from the enemy

another good one is paralyze, when you hit an enemy they become stiff and fall over

i make a sword with both enchantments on it

i dont like the dragon plate. i think its ugly. i always stuck with daedric for heavy and glass for light just because of looks
