Got this on X-mas...
I finaly have a reason to come back into this forum...
Yall were making me too fucking envious for awhile.
Ive noticed they've made archery a lot more proficient but i havent seen a way to craft arrows as of yet. Anyone know if its doable?
Ive got a Nord warrior started (one hand, archery, lite armour) just to kind of give me an idea of the changes, but will be starting my first REAL character after I get a better understanding of the changes. Any opinions? I tend to stay away from purely magical, so either archer, or full out melee, or even a mix of those.
And anyone got a link to a good spot to read up on how all the new smithing and enchanting works? I thought you'd get ONE table to do it all at but theres like 4 just for crafting and upgrading, and a fifth for enchanting lol.... Steep learning curve even for someone whos played the last 2 games!

Here are some enchanting and smithing links. It gets really easy once you try it out a few times.

As for your character just try out whatever styles interest you. The good thing about the skill system in Skyrim is that it doesn't lock you into a certain type of character like Oblivion did. Read what all the perks are for what you're interested in and compare that to your playstyle.
