I wasn't going to say anything, but I feel the same way. When I listen to the new 40 album, it feels like it should be a Mac Dre album. Songs like Tell Me When To Go, Muscle Cars, Yeee, those songs are Mac Dre's concepts. I mentioned this to a friend, and he agrees. Don't get me wrong, I'm a 40 fan, and I bought the cd, but it just seems like 40 is running with Mac Dre's game. Sort of like Fat Joe stealing Big Pun's rhymebook.

i seen a little video clip the other day where mista fab says that mac dre is to the bay what dj screw was to houston, what soulja slim was to new orleans, what biggie was to ny. and i thought that was a good way to put what dre means to the bay.

I'm not hating on 40, that's just the way I feel when I listen to the album. I've been a fan of 40 and Dre since way back, before Thizz even started. It's just that when I listen to this new 40, it has a definite Mac Dre feel to it.

Thats real let this shit rest E-40 is a trendsetter so Its no reason he'd have to bite Dre.We talking about a CERTIFIED TYCOON who not just THE BAY but damn near the whole rap wolrd soaked up some of forty's words and ways and ran with it(Jazze Pha,Snoop Dogg,Ect..) basically what im saying is his whole existence outside of THE BAY is his lingo so I know he not tryna jack Dre.Just like Jay-z said 'Whenever I Say A Big Verse Im Just Biggin Up My Brother" so instead of thinking negative about the similarties consider it Acknowledgment,Respect And Love because thats all it is.

Some people appreciate any love Mac Dre is shown while others wouldn't be satisified if you ran ads during prime time on tv, rented billboard space in every major city right next to the freeway, and had a national holiday declared in his honor. That's just how that goes so no point in arguing about it.

And Mac Dre being responsible for E-40's success? Last I knew 40 was a millionaire and living the life long before Mac Dre started "thizzin" and all that. Yeah his persona's were cartoon-like & entertaining but was he changing the face of rap music? C'mon now...

Nobody is taking any credit away from 40. Dude is a trendsetter. Mac Dre should be the frontman for the whole hyphy movement. 40 is just taking advantage. He is a millionaire, he needs to be the trendsetter that he is and start a new one, not jump on the current one.

Wallets be real my dude If E-40 came out with this new cd and he never put Keak on that song you probably would have said fuck forty for not putting nobody from THE Bay on.The word was when Forty signed that production deal with Lil Jon that he was goin be like Too Short and hit Atlanta get crunk and never come back to THE BAY.So how could you get mad at the man for presenting to the world this Hyphy Movement that alot of people said was just going to stay in THE BAY? He's not taking credit for Hyphy he's just displaying the movement The Bay got goin on.And personally Im feelin like he's doing a good job I from Frisco but Im currently in Houston getting this school shit out of the way and last night on BET I saw Forty's video "Tell Me When To Go" played at least 3 times and twice on MTV thats BIG for one day in the south.

no need for name calling. i wasn't tryin to back Mac Dre or E-40 up with nothing. i was just saying Mac Dre stated it before tha Hyphy movement became as large as it is now. i aint said 40 water aint said it before. i aint hatin on none of them two artists. it is what it is
