i remember watching mtv recentley and hearing e-40 say that he is the bay.

Why would 40 ride Mac Dre's dick when they was beefin since the early 90's and just got on good terms. For all you sqaures out here on the sicness mac dre disses 40 and tha click on the young black brother album on " Stay on my Toes" 40 and the click and even lil bruce made diss songs on dre too it was real hillside vs crest. Now 40 been sayin thizz and all types of shit for a minute too give blood his props for putting the bay back in the spotlight and let mac dre rest in peace and lets all get this money
Ok im not gonna read all the posts but imma throw my 2 cents out there.............................. I just remeber some people hating on 40 for puttin the RIP mac dre thing at the end, and some peeps were sayin oh what how often is the last part played on TV anyways, and whats funny is ever time i have seen the tell me when to go video... Every time i see the RIP mac dre at the end, and 40 is right i garentee DRE would do the SAME thing to e-40 if he passed on... its all love no matter which way u look at...
Bonfeezy I feel where you comin from family but understand that E-40 and Mac Dre didn't really fuck wit each other when Dre was alive so the love he is showing he's doing that outta respect for his legacy and what he did before he died.He not finna hop on Dre's nuts now that he's gone and act like they where the closest of potnas.I honestly feel gradually in E-40's next few releases he'll show more love but he's not gonna over due it he's just doing enough to let The Bay know he acknowledges Mac Dre's accomplishment.
Yall must have forgot, or you young cats just dont know. I am a big believer in history repeating itself. In this case, it may have.

Mac Dre was about to blow up in 1992, the same time E-40 began his surge to the top. Unforunately, he went to prison and that was a wrap.

Mac Dre was the one who was bringing a different element to the bay. The Thizz Movement was well on its way to taking off. There was no one in the bay at the time Thizzell Washington came out that had the creative nitch Dre had. He was killed, which brought even more attention to the movement and getting the young cats more on the whole "Hyphy" thing.
In a nutshell if you ask me, E-40 would not be where he is right now if it wasnt for Mac Dre. His death contributed greatly to the awareness of this music and its popularity. Once again, Mac Dre did not get to the top because of something but E-40 did.
