why are people getting mad over fan write in nominees? if they woulda chose them youd be complaining about how you didnt have a chance to nominate someone. they did a great job last year and im sure it will be 100x better this year, and you can say that there the same artists as last year but i think besides 2 categories mac dre won them all

The Bammies eventually expanded and became the California Music Awards. I think 2004 was the last year though 'cause I can't remember hearing about them since then.

The Bammies expanded because at the time there wasn't enough "Bay Area only talent" to fill the categories.
