.....and not all mexicans are of mayan or aztec descent.There are alot of other indigenous people that arent/werent aztec/mayan and speak their own dialect.Spanish is the language we know and what unites as a people,it be cool to know the indigenous languages but most have been lost because they didnt document their language on paper or other kind of text.
our indigenous blood has been washed up over the last 500 years. Its practically gone all we can do is learn and respect those indios that are now mistreated and looked down uupon in our own land in which we come from. They are some of the most disrespected by us mexicans in mexico. poor indias coming down to the pueblo selling shit they make outa dirt.(adobe figures)

Thas the ONLY real thing I've seen on this sad ass thread. The majority of Mexikans (if you have Mexikan blood) shows it's a mixture of Indigenous & European of some sort. Muthafuckas are quik to speak all proudly about a language that wus forced on us, just like the mixed culture we still pass down to generation from generation with no questioning along the way. so to Chuco or whoever wrote me earlier yappin' bout "good luck tryna get indio girls", why be ashamed of who you are? Nahua [our original tongue] goes alot further than speakin' game to some females homie, it's OUR roots...
I'm in the process of findin' where my ancestors origininated from... my fam roots are in Huacasco, Xalisco so Im guessing it shuld be a tribe that wus close to the border of Zacatecas.

I never assumed all mexikans are Aztek by any means. [which the actual name is "Mexika" which is where we get the word "Mek-si-can" from] I'm saying why be ashamed of learning your original tongue? That's like a black man or a brown man neglecting his language because the "dominant" languages are English & spanish which are both European languages.. All power to whomever can speak as many languages as they can, the more the better, I'm just saying I much rather learn my ROOTS than something thats covered our true ethnicity 500+ years. It's the same thing with believing the La Virgen isnt Coatlique Tonantzin, look it up.
& remember, the only reason Spanish is used so much by us is simply becus it was FORCED upon our ancestors. The chains are off now, are we trying to go back to our roots? I'll let you answer that one.
