Thinking real hard about ordering this fight... I think Oscar is going to try to punk Pacman but Pacman isn't going to go out.

^ It should be worth ordering. The undercard is decent, if you don't end up ordering at least check back in this thread, I'm sure someone will be posting a streaming link.

I think pacman will box and stay on his toes for the first 6 rounds, let oscar get tired like he always does, then he'll go on the attack. Manny's going to be too fast and have too much energy for the old tranny to keep up in the 2nd half of the fight.

That's exactly what I'm thinking, so I layed some money on Manny for the win. LOL

Manny over the Tranny.

And I'm ordering it. After that last bullshit with the Jones/Calzaghe fight, where I saw maybe 2 good rounds, and missed the rest, I'm not taking chances.

yeah this is a must watch imo. Too interesting to pass up. Even if you think oscar is too big and will win, you gotta be curious as to what this fight will look like.

I've ordered much, much worse PPV's then this!!

The Jones/Calzaghe fight I knew from the start was a sham and Jones would get beat, but I watched it anyway cuz I'm addicted lol.

I agree. And I think at the pace that Manny will set, Oscar might even be gassed sooner. Steve Forbes really tagged Oscar good in their fight, broke his orbital bone, and Forbes was never really considered a really big puncher even in the lower weight divisions.

I also was reading about how much trouble Oscar was having with Ivan Calderon, as far as his speed, so I think the speed is going to be the difference in this fight.

Oh yeah, Juan Manuel Lopez fight should be an entertaining one too ! But I really think they could've really hit a homerun with some bigger name fighters on the undercard.

Yep, I heard that too. Ivan Calderon even commented on it and said his style and speed gave Oscar a lot of trouble, but Ivan is much too humble to go as far as to say he schooled Oscar or anything, but Freddie Roach who was training Oscar at the time said he certainly did.

Also, there were a couple of smaller guys that whooped Oscar in training recently. And lots of pictures, and even one of the 24/7 episodes, show Oscar sporting a black eye.

I was thinking about the Stevie Forbes fight too, and how he rocked Oscar a couple of times. The only thing about that fight though, is that Stevie Forbes is a very slick defensive fighter, and he's a great counter puncher. He just doesn't pull the trigger enough to be a good fighter. So, it's kinda unfair to compare him to how Pacquiao will do, but with that said if he can rock Oscar, so can Manny!

It all comes down to how good of a boxer Pacquiao has become. Against David Diaz he looked like Mayweather, lol. If he can do half that good against Oscar for the first half of the fight, just pot shot and stay on his toes, I think he'll win! But if he goes in there and gets into a slug fest early, that could be his demise.

alright, I think I'm going to bet on this. I obviously waited too long and the odds aren't nearly as good, but fuck it.

So for straight up it sucks, Pacman is only +168 so only 1.68X the pay. BUT, the odds for Pacman winning inside the distance is +484 (too unlikely) and Pacman winning by decision is +339. I like the latter since that's what I think is going to happen. What ya'll think, is it worth the risk for +339 odds??

^ That would be, in my opinoin, the only way Pacquiao wins this. Oscar may be old, but two things that I think never deteriorate in even an aging fighter are his strength and chin. He's had a pretty sturdy chin, and been in with guys who hit him much harder than Manny could.

I definitely see this one going to a decision and in Pacquiao's favor.

So +339 means what exactly ? My bad, not much of a gambler.

Damn, great odds. I honestly don't see him winning any other way, so straight up makes no sense. But yeah, is that on a site ? I'm actually going to be in Vegas for the fight, do you think those odds are pretty much universal ?
