Just that one guy? Man i've seen plenty of white comedians make jokes about blacks and mexicans. I remember I was watching some shit one time and a white comedian cracked a joke about white privilege th over that of blacs and it made the predominantly white crowd uncomfortable. His reponse to them was that why are you acting uncomfortable when you benefit from it everyday?

So what if white people get their feelings hurt by comedians and rappers? It's not a bad trade off for their privileges.

without getting too deep (due to time, and my inability to do so lol) into it i'll just touch on how the universal color of green is effected by white priv. on average white protestant and catholic males and females make more money doing the same type of work than do their male and female counterparts from other ethnic backgrounds. this is the empirical fact. why is this? is it not an inherent privilege to have a better chance at making more money simply based off of skin tone? should it be called something else?

that's some good rhetoric if you want to motivate someone, and it applies to a lot of situations and people, but it does not change the fact that it's harder to obtain a certain wage or salary when you're of a certain ethnicity.

That's debatable though. One of my closest boys (who happens to be black) makes about $6/hr more than I do. He's a college dropout, I have a college degree. His dad is an old school cat, who I've discussed this with before...and his response was "my people need to stop makin' excuses for their failures and shortcomings." That's what he said word for word. So, it depends on who you ask, also.

Then there are my amigos who make $16-$18/hr. with just a GED...more than most of my white folks make.

It's not so much about race as it is about location and profession. Don't get me wrong, it might be in some areas...but where I'm from it's almost the opposite. The younger generation might be changing that soon though....'cause there are a bunch of damn ignorant assholes out here these days....of ALL backgrounds.

It could go either way in that situation, couldn't it? I don't look for fights and I'm generally a laid back dude. And usually somebody who would walk up to a white dude and call him a "cracker" is the cat who has a loud mouth looking for a problem. I'm not the vocal type...if there's a problem, I don't say a word. If I'm going to hit somebody, I'm going to hit him while he's focused on talking...and I don't let my face express anger in those situations. If I think he's just a loud mouth and no threat to me, I'll just walk away.
