nice thought but the person who paid a hundred would just sell 20 dollar cds to get his or her money back..keep it real we still gotta pay rent and bills and thats why people download from the jump

the underground will get less and less support from those with money until theres a way that they get some of the cake too..

or atleast, break even..

i guess the business way to do it is to getpaid first but even on the business end you gamble getting fucked much like the musician does

True, but the artists agenda is different then the label. The only reason a label is in business is to make money...nothing else. The thing is There are artists who are their own entity/ label/ everything. Then there are artists who sign deals and do business with other entities. Bottom line the game has changed but most artists trying to use the old blueprint version 1.01 Its time to upgrade their game.

SO WAT U SAYIN IS HE SHUDNT HAVE SOLD HIS RECORD? THAT SEEMS LIKE THE SMART THING TO DO SINCE HE IS BASICALLY LAYIN THE DELAY ON HIS ALBUM ON SICCNESS. IM KINDA OVER THE VOL.1 IN A WAY CUZ HE PUTTIN SUMTHIN ELSE OUT, BUT ITS BEEN HELLA BUILD UP ABOUT THE ALBUM AND SAYIN IT WAS GONNA DROP NOW JUS SEEM LIKE A SCRAPED PROJECT

STAY ON SICCNESS'S NECK ABOUT THE MERCY VOL. 1 ALBUM BECAUSE HONESTLY WHEN ME AND NEMO DID THE DEAL, HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE RELEASED IN A MONTH FROM THE DATE I TURNED IT IN... THIS IS THE REASON WHY YALL DON'T HEAR FROM ME THAT MUCH BECAUSE ALL A MAN HAS IS WORD AND HIS BALLS. JUST LIKE I SAID BEFORE... IF IT WAS MITCHY SLICK, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT YESTERDAY.
