word, i agree...but whats got more of a chance of selling these days my friend? some hardcore gangsta shit (and not that watered down southern style trap music)...or some dance influenced, auto-tune filled, simplistic ass beat talkin bout clubs and cash?...and normally siccness albums are in stores...this aint about pushin it in the streets for the most part...siccness has gotta get some bread back somewhere, and for that they gotta try and get fans to run to the retail store and buy it...good luck persuading the average consumer to buy a cricet product in 2009...

but if it is ready for release, it should be released. i support a lot of siccness releases based on the fact that its from siccness.net and if cricet's name is on it then i think it will get more support than what you think it might get. i bought that no mercy 2 and as much as i loved it, i know it didn't have that siccness push to it that almost not had me buy the cd. just release it cuz if it's that real shit then it might be that shit that will bring back some sales for y'all
From the standpoint of the fans it makes sense to release it. But how much money do you gotta keep putting in the pot before you realize that you will not recoup that money? Maybe it would do bigger numbers then i thought...who knows, but how much money was paid to cricet for the album? ( production, verses, artwork, photos). Can the siccness recoup what they put in already? on top of adding more expenses like pressing up...what about marketing etc. Or should they just put it out now for the 20 members on the sicc and then its available for free download on another site.
thats pretty weak tho. i mean mercy 2 was part of a time frame in my life that im not gonna forget. i don't know if yall remember certain albums by what your going through at the time, thats how i saw that last cricet album...when i first got it i played it back to back from san diego to oakland..so i have some memories involving that last one..but we cant tell siccness how to run their business and if they want to sit on it they can i guess.but like someone said 'that sucks for us fans' and shit i got cricets cd at fam bam not siccness so..not to say i wouldnt support it im just sorta used to hand to hands or getting it immediately..i just personally hope i dont die before i get to hear it, that would be nice.
if it was a double album like sav said it woulda made sense to follow up on it....but....whatever
cricets a grown man and coop and whomever else is in control of the cd department in siccness are also grown men and even if i do have opinions on this subject, this isnt marketing class...what the fuck do i care if someone else makes money in the grand scheme of things, i just wanna give someone ten-fifteen dollars for a tight cd to play in my car because i consider that a fair trade off. im not worried about who makes a couple thou.

LIKE I SAID ITS ON THE ARTIST TO BE WILLIN TO PUT THE FULL TIME IN, LIKE HIT UP LA, HIT UP AZ HIT UP CENTRAL CALI, GO TO VEGAS, TEXAS. HOW LONG IDK, 4-5 MONTHS IF ITS JUS MAINLY HAND TO HANDIN IT. SOME MIGHT LOOK AT IT AS THATS IT?? BUT I AINT GONNA OVER SHOOTIN MY ESTIMATES
