Cognito is one the hottest and fastest rising rap superstars in the USA. This Bay Area native has been featured on over 15 albums and soundtracks and now has completed his highly anticipated debut album with super producers Mike Mosley, Femi Ojetunde, Rick Rock, Bosko, and Darien D-Buck Smith, the producers behind such artists as Tupac, TQ, E-40, Carl Thomas, Master P and many more.

While Cognito has toured and performed with the likes of Nate Dogg, Andre Nickatina, Equipto, Mike Marshal (Million Dollar Dream),Ludacris, The Game, 3LW, E-40, Jagged Edge, B-Legit, Jin and others, he was relatively unknown when he was discovered by Darien D-Buck Smith an executive of Steady Mobbin Productions. After hearing him rap, D-Buck took Cognito to Bay Area legend Mike Mosley to let him hear this awesome talent. Mike Mosley signed Cognito on the spot to Steady Mobbin. At the time Mike Mosley was working with his other artist TQ who would go on to create a multi platinum classic album "They never saw me comin". Realizing Cognito's massive talent, Steady Mobbin hit the streets and hoods to get a buzz going on this future superstar. Not only does Cognito have a huge following and a strong fan base in the Bay Area, but he also has developed quite a following in London and in Europe as well. Now that Cognito has worked his way thru the industry, Steady Mobbin is ready to set Cognito lose on the world.. "That's My Mic" is in stores now and also available soon at www.milliondollardream.com and www.cognitomusic.com
Steady Mobbin ... as in Steady Mobb'n ?

I guess I don't see what Strange is doing wrong? They sign Lynch( big move), they already have the biggest indy artist in the world. They have a few established artists that sell a LOT more than people think and they have and they have HUGE fan bases, and now they sign an artist in Cognito that has been in meetings with some of the biggest labels in the world because they have interest in him. He was with a legend in Master P who obviously saw something in him, and now Strange MUST SEE THAT HE HAS SOMETHING THAT COULD BE HUGE once the develope him, there is a reason Strange is as big as they are, they know how to do it right. I wouldn't count them out that fast.
Well..considering all that means nothing if quality music isn't being put out..then..to me...they're failing. Killer was dope...and FP is nice minus a few tracks but overall...anyone not named Tech has yet to really impress me with a release. Kutt comes nice though if you throw in Flamez and the first CD.

You Mean Like Ill Bill?
Murs has a following over here.
As does Kottommouth Kings, and (hed) P.E.
Ill Bill has it good over here but I was talkin bigger. Murs has good following but they still didn't tour over here. Im talkin he needs to sign someone from the east coast, but first there needs to be some real good talent that comes around. It would be cool if they got little brother on there, but hey thats just me though.

This guy sucks ass, beyond generic. Sounds like a lame ass pitbull. Where's the writing skill dude? Maybe Tech can help him rhyme more than one 1 syllable word at a time.

If anyone isnt familiar with Cognito get ahold of a copy of 'Recognition' very nice, solid album, I seen Cognito perform once also and his stage show is above par, coming into a town where probably nobody but me heard of him opening for Andre Nickatina, and dude killed it, last song he did was 'Shift Kits' and had the entire crowd bouncing wavin hands right along with him...he'll be a good look on strange.

Strange is forgetting to sign rappers who are good.

Do any of you guys know the band Reveille? They did an album called Bleed the Sky and the dude sounded just like this Cognito guy.

Only Reville was good... LoL.

Im sure Cognito's live show had something to do with Strange signing him. He has done hundreds of shows the last 4 years and always has the crowd going. He has also toured with some huge acts and knows how to present himself on stage. I can't wait to see a Cognito show with Strange.

Me and the diamond one get along as well as peas and carrots.

How do any of us know if KC artists aren't being looked at to be added to the artists list? Does anyone kow for a fact that Travis is sitting back saying it'll never happen?
Nobody in KC is going to be bigger than Tech IMO.
