I wouldn't say that. Mon-E-G is starting to grab some attention. Plus, I'm sure there are plenty of dudes here that would sign on to a major in a heartbeat, where as Tech has a list of demands and likely in the end, wouldn't.

It seems like Strange is hella quiet these days. Don't say shit about anything until like, a month after it's been "confirmed" by other sources. Seems they learned from Critical Bill & Ill Bill, don't put shit out there until it's 100%.

I hope Strange signs more artists that are worthy of the caliber of music they produce.

Signing Lynch was genius, now they just have to make sure they don't sit on him and his album, because if they do, it will be another lost relic in a sea of "coulda, woulda, shoulda..." Also Lynch is infamous for delaying the fuck out of his projects, they need to apply pressure.

As for Cognito, he has a lot to prove with all the die hard Tech fans. He has to cater to Tech's audience and then some to be succesful, and also to be viewed as a valued and respected artist. He almost has to take an approach similar to Prozak's, where he has Tech's fans, PLUS his own followiing. (Which to my understanding he has a pre-existing fanbase)

I honestly am not familiar with Cog's music, but from what I understand, he isn't exactly "Strange Material." Hopefully he doesn't drop a half assed album aimed at the ladies and materialism. Otherwise, he will be another tax write off for Aaron Yates and Travis O'Guin.

Let's see...

I was going to say the same thing about the Scratch game. Why are there features and soundtracks out there that we have to "find" instead of them announcing it?

I was talking to Cognito at the Tech show in Livermore, CA (back in April or May), and he said he signed to Strange Music then. Maybe he was just saying he was about to sign...but anyway, he seemed like a cool dude.

I dont really think it is in Cognito to release a half assed album, regardless of what label he is on, dude seems absolutley passionate about what he does. His subject matter isnt the same as Tech, or Lynch, or what you might call a stereotypical strange sounding artist, so there are going to be lines about maybe rims, or girls, or whatever else, but the entire package wouldnt be anything to scoff at, dude is legit. What I hope will happen is being around Techs people brings out the best in Cog, my example is always the A-Wax/Woodie album, everybody says that wax outshined wood on that disc but I get the feeling wood brought out the best, and hard work ethic in wax. Same with Lynch, hopefully being around people that are about their shit and wanting to put out a solid project quickly, will motivate him. Either way, I can almost garuntee Lynchs strange disc will be epic, and Cog's shit will almost be certainly something to look forward too.

Tech 9? Travis Ogiun? might wanna learn the names of the guys Inkin your checks.
Everyone makes a typo here and there, If I judged everyone one siccness because of that I would calling out a lot of names on here. Whats the point? I also think that correction was made a while back because I can't even find where the error is on My Space. Maybe its just me.

There hasn`t been a whole lot of talk just yet about 2 more artists from Sacramento that also got started from under the Lynch umbrella, SavSicc and Bleezo, but Tech has been in contact with us at Cway Muzicc about upcoming collaborations. If anyone has somewhat followed Lynch lately, then you`ve heard Sav an Bleezo before. I think they would sound well teamed with Tech. Grab the free mixtapes in the sig or check the myspace if you don`t know them yet. www.myspace.com/officialcwaymuzicc

I`m not sure how Cog will completely fit in with the Strange sound, but I do have full faith in the management there to know what they are doing. This could very well be a move to expand outside the box a little. Just another opinion.

I have heard the music Cog is doing with Strange and its dope. Im not saying its your regular Strange sound but I really dont believe Tech signed him for that. Tech has said often that Strange is making big moves and I think this is just the start. Strange is making music for everyone, not just for a small group of fans. They have made all the right moves up till now, major labels want their artists to get on tour with Strange because they know how they push their artists. I believe they know what they are doing. We will see in time.
