imo they are running out of matchups and good fighters. I view UFC as the in thing right now but that can easily change.
Its a funny situation.. They put out a ppv almost every month... so I feel that.

Problem with the UFC as being the thing right now is that is been more stable and has probably gotten over alot of its financial issues. That is something Elite XC (who I thought was doing a great thing by getting other orgs), IFL (public stocks) and even now Affliction couldnt establish.

That type of stability comes with years of steady growing.

I feel ya though.

Eh, Fedor can go along with his career but he isn't going to get more money, better exposure, or better fights than with the UFC.

If the deal doesn't go through, it will always hang over his career that he didn't do what was necessary to get the best fights for himself.

His loss. The UFC will thrive without him.

Wooooooow how crooked is Vadim?? Look at what the UFC offered fedor:

What M-1 meant by the UFC's"very generous offer"....

So we all know the deal with M-1 and what they are saying about co-promotion. I'm not here to say who's right and wrong in this deal, but I can tell you some of the specifics that were offered to Fedor.....

- The UFC offered Fedor a 6 fight, 30 million dollar contract. That's 5 mil a fight

- The UFC offered Fedor an immediate title shot

- Lesnar/Fedor would be the biggest PPV in MMA history (we assume), and the UFC offered M-1 Global a cut of the PPV on top of Fedor's purse.

- Fedor was free to wear as many M-1 logoed items as he wished.

- The UFC also relented on allowing Fedor to compete in combat sambo.

Apparently, for good or bad, M-1 refuses to sign a deal unless the UFC agrees to co-promote.
I don't know how anyone can blame Dana here. He isn't the bad guy here, its that fucking evil communist russian don king.

Fedor can never be considered the best unless he goes to the ufc. You can't be the best by beating ufc rejects. People the ufc is done with. Lol.

Honestly, if fedor doesn't sign this deal, he truly shows he's scared to fight real competition right now.

Its all danas fault. open your eyes sheep!
thats really not the point, UFC doesnt run shit as much as some of you want to believe. Once again the UFC wont necessary provide Fedor with the best fights. Yes him and Brock will be a good fight but thats pretty much it. Theres really noone else worthy for him to fight and Couture would have happened if that was to happen. Lol @ Fedor beating UFC rejects and having real competition in UFC, he beat both UFC heavyweight champions which was a slap in the face to Dana since Dana was talking major shit about him around the time.

Arlovski fought stupid against Rogers. He still would smash on most of the UFC fighters. He fought good against Fedor till he got caught. Sylvia is a whole nother story, he just didnt match up well against Fedor.

so who are the better matchups with fedor outside of the ufc? overeem? choi? rogers?silva?

and im not here to diss fedor. fedor has fought everyone in pride. he never ran from anybody. but now the other best collection of heavyweights is in the ufc.

it does make sense when you put it that way and it is crazy how much money he actually turned down. I still think the only good for him in UFC is Brock.
