I'd pick Pulev over any other up and coming heavy atm, save for maybe Helenius and Ortiz, and even those would be pickems. I'd also pick him against some established heavies.

I'd like to see the Garcia fight but he shouldn't be getting TV spots for fighting guys like Martinez. The Concepcion win was nice and all but it shouldn't give him a fight on HBO against someone like Garcia.

The Donaire fight was a borefest. Donaire was 15lb to 20lb heavier then dude. Cut-off the fucking ring and knock dude out. It's funny how HBO was making every excuse in the book to justify why the fight was so damn boring, but HBO is hyping dude up the whole fight. Not impressed at all with this fight, Donaire is going to have problems against someone with boxing skills that is his own size. Robert Garcia to me is one of the best trainers in boxing, he was telling Donaire what to do.

Narvaez isn't some bum he's a guy who was undefeated and had something like 15 or 16 title defenses. Now he basically pulled a Clottey. I don't know how you knock out a dude who just isn't taking risks. Plus Narvaez has some pretty solid defense. But it's whatever, donaire has been exciting in just about all of his fights but this one. It happens, even to the best.

Donaire vs Toshiaki Nishioka at 122 most likely next. That will be a real banger.

donaire even said post fight "now I know how manny felt when he fought clottey"

You could tell donaire was really trying to put on a show for the crowd and he was a little frustrated at times because he wanted a fight, he wanted to give the fans what they came to see, but it takes two to tango and only donaire showed up to the dance

Nevarez seemed to be content with not getting knocked out. It takes two to tango, and Donaire was giving him openings, in trying to get Nevarez to open up, but he was just hiding behind his guard and not throwing any punches.

Sure, he showed some good defensive skills, but anyone can block punches all night long. Nevarez averaged something like 24 punches per round, and really didn't look like he was trying to win at all.

Donaire needs to stop killing himself to make weight and move up already and fight someone his own size. He cut 30 pounds in 30 days to make this fight and Navarez is a damn 115 pounder who juss moved up to prove he could hang with a bigger guy and make a name for himself. Donaire should of went to the body more and cut off the damn ring, he was hurting Navarez to the body, guess he didnt notice. Navares impressed me with his defense in the ring, the flash couldnt land a clean punch on em all night and got bored in the ring

well he's fighting Nishioka at 122 next according to The Bobfather, so that's the right step up. Also, Donaire hasn't fought in like 8 months or whatever so I think being out the ring for so long he gained some weight.

All these guys at 115/118 cut weight though. No grown ass man weighs that much unless they are like 4'11. I was actually shocked Donaire weighed in at 116.

^~~ That was a pretty sloppy fight until Huck took Rossi's face off. 3 points were deducted and Huck seemed to not be able to let go against a southpaw. I'd hate to see him up against a southpaw who can actually fight like Hernandez. If you watched the fight you had to wonder what the hell Rossi was doing in a title fight and how he ever got ranked in the top 15 of any sanctioning body legit, which I'm sure this wasn't.

.. also Pulev looked like garbage against Walker sadly enough even though he won and Lyell ended up getting played against Britisch. I've figured out that last second shoe shining flurries at the end of rounds by German based fighters in Germany gets them the round over there 98% of the time even if they've been getting busted up the entire 2:30 of that same round.
