yeah that was a nice scrap I never seen either of those guys fight before.

Ajose was a true showman in the first few rounds, fighting with his hands behind his back and whatnot. That first knockdown where he cocked his hand back, posed for like 5 seconds like he was frozen then fired it off and scored a knockdown lol I was like this guy is fuckin awesome! but the frenchman started to come back and Ajose was fading a bit there, nice action fight.

more guys need to be aware about that, especially foreign fighters coming to the US...yeah it's about winning but it's also entertainment. You entertain the crowd and people will want to see you again, leaves an impression for sure. A lot of guys these days just don't get it. Chad Dawson is the perfect example, imo. He could be a star if he would put on a show every once in a while.

Donaire hits MSG, ready for war

New York, N.Y. --- "I'M IN THE BIG LEAGUES NOW" --- "I'm in the big leagues now" exclaimed World Bantamweight Champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire after a visit to the famed 'Mecca of Boxing' Madison Square Garden in New York City Monday night. Donaire, who is making his New York debut, spoke about the 'New York city lights', 'the millions of people in the Big Apple' and 'the excitement he feels' about his upcoming battle against undefeated Omar Narvaez of Argentina, Saturday, October 22 in the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Madison Square Garden, Donaire vs Narvaez will be televised by HBO Boxing After Dark. --- Photos by Chris Farina/Top Rank.

Some pretty good underrated fights happening this weekend if anyone gives a shit to watch them.

10/21
Pongsaklek Wonjongkam Vs. Edgar Sosa
Future HOFer Pong defends his lineal flyweight as he takes on another top ranked flyweight.

10/22
Logan McGuinness Vs. Benoit Gaudet
I don't think much of McGuinness but a lot of people think he's pretty good. Gaudet's good enough to find that out.
Kubrat Pulev Vs. Travis Walker
One of my favorite up and coming heavyweights who's been matched correctly in his young career. I fully expect him to crush Walker, I think people should be looking at Pulev. Soon.
Alberto Mosquera Vs. Brunet Zamora
Zamora finally gets a fight outside of Italy against a decent fighter. He's much older than most of the other Cuban defectors but he has some very good skill, just don't expect him to make that big of a splash.
Miguel Acosta Vs. Richard Abril
Acosta's real come back fight against the Cuban Richard Abril. All my Cuban fandom aside, if all was right in the world Prescott would've never got a chance to ruin Khan's face and Molina wouldn't have been the first guy to beat Lundy as Abril got a pretty raw deal against them both, including taking the fight against Prescott on a 1-2 days notice.
Nehomar Cermeno Vs. Yoandris Salinas
Cermeno comes back after getting wiped out by Montiel. Salinas is supposedly a very talented Cuban defector, I've unfortunately haven't seen very much of him.
