I know he is, I thought Macklin was robbed in germany and he's even gayer for not giving him a rematch. I'm just trying to think of what is out there for martinez. Maybe it's macklin since he's under dibella now too but I don't see that as a huge fight.

I was thrown off by his managers comment about a "HUGE" fight supposedly going to be announced in 15 days and I just don't know who the hell that could be.

the only rumors I've heard are mayweather but that's all speculation. I think his manager is just full of shit.

Chavez is scheduled to fight manfredo in dec (lol)
Canelo is scheduled to fight Kermit Cintron
Margarito/Cotto in december
Martinez said no to Hopkins
Pacquiao is set to fight JMM and that wont happen anyway
Sturm is scheduled to fight Martin Murray in dec

So there is Pirog, who dibella already said "fuck off" too, there's Macklin and maybe some non stars at 154 like Lara etc. Paul Williams I'm sure as hell wouldn't be it, so I'm clueless.

Has anyone else noticed that Mayweather has only fought Golden Boy promoted fighters since fighting DLH?????????? That's a pretty simple point to make but I swear I've never heard someone bring that up. Top Rank gets blasted for Pac only fighting TR fighters but May has been doing that since 2007.

Why is no one calling Floyd out for that? And makes me believe even less that Floyd would fight Martinez even though DiBella isn't the hardest guy to make a fight with. GB would sooner match him with Khan for more money and keep all that cash.

Jermaine Taylor? Is DBE even still promoting him? That would still get people's attention. I wouldn't be excited about it but I'm just saying. He's supposedly going back to MW. Abraham moving back down? All I can come up with if it's not a huge surprise

dibella let him go a couple years ago after his most recent KO loss but maybe he resigned w/him I don't know. But I doubt that's it one would imagine taylor will take at least a tune up fight or two before stepping up competition.

Abraham is moving down but that's certainly not a big fight anymore.

and yeah I've brought up floyd only fighting golden boy fighters it's a bit of a double standard there when pac/bob arum get criticized for it when it's the exact same thing - in house fighting to maximize the purse for floyd and pacquiao.

I'm not trippin though it's how the sport goes, I just want to see what happens after pac-jmm III, assuming pac wins and go from there.

why does juanma lopez suck so bad now? He got hurt/rocked in the first round against Mike Oliver who only has 8 KO's in his career. Sure Lopez TKO'd Oliver in the next round because Oliver is a bum, but still the same old leaky defense he looks slow and doesn't put any combo's together really. He says he's ready for the Salido rematch and then Gamboa but honestly he's going to get KTFO by either guy.

His game really regressed and he's only 27 years old. Needs a new trainer or something.

Boxing is a business, Mayweather fights the top dogs in his division #1,2, or 3(check his track record), other than Top Rank, Golden Boy is the next best thing and we all know Floyd dont do business with the Bob Father(all his fuckin dirty ass fighters) he owes him millions. one thing I can say is Floyd dont fight fixed fights, I have a couple in mind that Manny or should I say Bob Arum was apart of. Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and next up is Marquez

I wouldnt call the fights fixed more like Arum makes sure Manny fights fighters that are on the decline in some way.

u think Clottey was on the decline? he took a dive(sold out for the cash, guess he had family to feed in Ghana)he only threw 6 punches the whole fight lol was never in trouble. he was even paid a bonus, how do you get paid a bonus for getting your ass whooped. Bob Arum has a history of this shit

I guess pacquiao took some hard shots and uppercuts in a fixed fight though, same type of BS logic that think floyd vs shane was fixed and victor vs floyd was fixed.



and lol how does clottey take a dive without taking a dive? he didn't go down he went the full 12 rounds. was that the masterplan of bob arum? to fix the fight by putting the fans to sleep for 12 rounds? amazing theory!

lol Clottey was paid to lose that fight and take it easy on Manny, shit was already set up before the negotiations with Floyd was even complete lol just like he has fights set up with Margarito(Mosley was invited to the fight) at the Mosley fight Marquez was invited including Bradely( Bob Arum is smart, hes now two steps ahead) and he had these deals done before the 12 round. the simple fact that he had these deals done before Manny steped in the ring is amazing to me(ask yourself a question, doesnt a fighter have to win a fight before they negotiate the next one?) Bob Arum just promoting off the back of Mayweather. You havent seen Clottey since that loss to Manny have you? Clottey was paid to shut up, thats why hes in Ghana. nobody is going over their to talk to that nigga lol. name me a time where Mayweather already had future deals done prior to his fights? Lopez has built the hell out of bad habits over the last few years. He's been fighting with worse and worse defense and be rocked A GRIP of times since beating Ponce De Leon. Think about it... Penalosa landed a ton of clean shots but wasn't much of a puncher at the weight and was taking a beating and still landed all those clean shots.

Mtagwa almost knocked him out

Luevano was slow and crusty but should've done worse than he did.

Concepcion dropped him and landed a bunch of good shots in a short fight if I remember correctly.

Marquez is way past his prime and we all know how that went. He landed some bombs on him and he's way slow now.

Salido landed a bunch of really clean shots, especially AFTER the big knockdown which really eats up a fighter in a hurry.

Beyond all that, he's gotten away with crappy defense. This is actually what I believe is happening to Pac. He's getting away with tons of flaws offensively and defensively by fighting fighters that aren't throwing back and aren't posing a huge threat. Clottey almost landed at will when he threw punches.
