If by played him out of his belt you mean, lost the fight on a technical decision in a fight that he got floored hard in the 1st that only ended up going 6, then yeah he was played out of his belt. Hard to be up on points throughout 6 rounds when you lost one of those rounds by 2 points. Cunningham was coming on at the time of the stoppage but he was clearly down on points when it was stopped.

Chavez hasn't fought anyone that can punch as good as Rubio or that is as good as Rubio period. I can't tell whether Chavez has a good chin or not but we'll find out tomorrow (or tonight) because he's there to be hit on a regular basis and Rubio will oblige. No gimme fight for Chavez here.

If the decision to stop the fight was fair then why did the IBF order an immediate rematch? Because it was a bad stoppage thank you come again. But I forgot you know everything about boxing. lol

Cunningham (24-3, 12 KO) lost the belt to Hernandez (25-1, 13 KO) via controversial technical decision last October, and neither man has fought since then, as the rematch was being sorted out. Hernandez did floor Cunningham in the first round last time out, but Cunningham started to really take over the fight in the third and fourth rounds, and was building a lot of steam before the fight was stopped on a suspect cut after six rounds. Cunningham lost via split decision, including one card (59-54 Hernandez) that seemed a bit ridiculous.

Yes, the stoppage was fair, yes Cunningham was coming on as I've said at least and yes I thought Hernandez clearly won. Do I think he won 5 rounds to 1? No.

I actually watched the fight, I didn't read about it. Thanks for a story though.

I actually watched the fight too. I don't comment on fights I don't watch myself. Hernandez answered all questins today with a good hard fought win.

I would be called a hater if I pointed out the fact that I said beforehand, I didn't think Donaire should be ranked #4 P4P. Oh well I'll just watch the fight and listen to the HBO team make excuses about why he didn't look good again. Lol #4 P4P my ass..
